NEW MINITABLES FOR POKER ROOM.COM

Online Casino News

31 August 2007

Mini-table feature will allow players to sit at up to 12 poker games at once

Latest innovation at the popular Poker Room.com site, an Ongame-Bwin Interactive subsidiary is a mini-table functionality that will make multi-tabling easier for experienced players.

The new mini-table feature just introduced will allow players to sit at up to 12 poker games at once.

"Online poker players are always interested in game features that enhance the level of the game," said Karin Klein, PokerRoom.com spokesperson. "Mini tables will test the concentration level and multi-tasking abilities of our most experienced players."

Klein says that playing more tables is not only more challenging, but more profitable, too. The more hands a good player can command, the more money can potentially be achieved.

Poker Room's previous software allowed only four tables to be played at once, clicking back and forth between several screens.
Now players at Poker Room.com have the option to reduce the screen size of their poker game, allowing up to 12 real-time games to be played on one screen.

Players will have to download the mini-tables feature through Windows Poker Client. The application can then be enabled by right clicking on a poker table and choosing the preferences option or by clicking on a button at the bottom right corner of the table.

The next time a player opens a table, the new setting will take effect. The difference in resolution is 502x355 pixels versus 800x600 pixels.
