Absolute Poker has announced a major update to its poker software, releasing version 8.0 which adds a range of new customising features to the online poker company's games.

David Clainer, senior vice president for Absolute Poker said the upgrade was in response to player demands for specific facilities and is the result of months of coding and design enhancements.

According to Clainer, the latest update includes the following new features:

* Three table views to choose from
* Faster card dealing
* New poker room menus and displays
* Resizable tables
* One-click table arrangement and alignment
* Easier to play more than one table at once
* Additional mouse functionalities
