Negreanu in new venture
Las Vegas poker ace and energetic entrepreneur Daniel
Negreanu is involved in a new educational venture with
the mobile entertainment company I-play.
The collaboration has resulted in the creation of a
series of instructional 'made for mobile' poker videos.
Players can download the quality productions to almost
any type of phone, and the service will be available on
several selected carriers. Branded "Win at Texas Hold'em,"
the series was launched earlier this week on both the
Sprint and Cingular mobile networks in the United
States.
Negreanu fronts the two to three minute clips, offering
professional tips to poker players at all skill levels.
The inventory consists of over 100 clips in total, all
filmed at the Venetian Hotel and Casino. Five categories
are on offer: Beginner, Advanced, Bluffs & Tells,
Tournament Tips and Winning Secrets.
I-play CEO David Gosen says the Win at Texas Hold'em
experience is fully customisable and will be available
in both pay-per-clip and streaming video options. Those
who prefer streaming video will be able search for, play
and bookmark their favorite video clips using the
'I-player, a proprietary mobile device that allows users
to create their own personalised video library.
I-play has plans to launch the product on further North
American and European mobile phone networks sometime
later this year.
