The name of the game these days is ID verification, and GB Group is spreading the word

Online gambling operators with a yen to get up to speed on the latest ID verification technology are likely to find all the information they need at a forthcoming seminar "Identity Matters" which the GB group is sponsoring. Well known in the ID sector, GB Group is better known as the developer of the URU ID verification multi-database system.

The seminar takes place at the Langham Hotel in London on 20 and 21 November, with a program that covers why identity issues are relevant to businesses and what is necessary to address changing consumer demands while pprotecting clients increasingly sophisticated and aggressive criminal techniques.

Speakers will include specialists from the UK Treasury’s private forum on identity and the Metropolitan Police's e-crime unit, alongside expert speakers from organisations such as Microsoft, BT and Unisys.
