Foxwoods the venue again this year for multi-million dollar tournment

The World Poker Tour has announced that the World Poker Finals tournament will be held between October 25 and November 17 at the Foxwoods Resort Casino.

WPT officials say that this year's prize pool is likely to top $15 million, ensuring fierce competition for big money prizes - last year's winner took home $2.1 million.

"The prestige, participants and prize pool continue to grow each year," said Terry Chiaradio, the new director of poker operations at Foxwoods. "We're expecting more than 6 000 entries, and based on last year's winner, it's anyone's game."

21-year-old Nick Schulman, the youngest champion in WPT history, took the grand prize last year and will be in action again.
