FURTHER EXPANSION FOR WPT'S EUROPEAN POKER CIRCUIT

Spain and Cyprus added to tournament schedule
 

World Poker Tour has confirmed that it is expanding its European Poker Circuit to embrace Barcelona in Spain and the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. The announcement follows an earlier notification that the WPT would be hosting events in Venice, Italy and Morocco in May and October 2009 respectively.

The Barcelona event will take place between June 24 - 30 at the Casino Barcelona and, for the first time, the group intends to host an event at the Merit Casino in Cyprus between September 4 - 12, 2009. Buy-ins will be Euro 5 300 (including registration) and $10 300 respectively.
