withdrawing with sticky bonus

Before you start going ballistic over this, please back up, regroup, and take a good look at what you are doing.

You are a Senior member here - not some newbie - and you should have known better than to play at casinos NOT listed in the "Accredited" page. I don't tout this just to wave a flag around for touting's sake. I'm trying to maintain a group of casinos that I stake my reputation on. They are safe places to play.

Being a senior member, you have been exposed to a large number of player experiences many of which involve RTG sites based in Costa Rica - most of which are NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES. The only positive experiences that I can recall concern iNetbet and Bodog. It is your responsibility to understand that you are playing at unregulated unlicensed casinos. Caveat Emptor to the highest extreme.

My job is to provide you (and everyone else) with enough information so that you can make a wise decision on where and how to play. If you choose not to heed this advice, then don't expect me (or anyone else for that matter) to click heels and march off into an arbitration mode.

I'm not raggin' on you a lot - I'm ragging on you a little. You (and other players who continue to patronize these casinos), are the ones to blame for these problems; you keep them in business.

You deposit, you lose, they thrive. Simple as that.

If I choose to assist you in collecting your winnings, who is to say they won't entice you with another bonus that's too good to be true. :what:

BTW - you submitted your PAB on the 30th of March the day I left. So it's not like I've been sitting on this (Monday this week was my first official workday). You're lucky it's your first PAB, any future ones will only be accepted if they concern "Accredited Casinos". Just a heads up. :D

thanks for your words bryan. i understand that i should not have chosen a crappy casino like this, and had they not offered me the sketchy bonus they did i would have just taken my cashout from the signup and never looked back. yeah i fell for their snare (at the time i was running super-hot and continued to when i played the 65k wagering on the second bonus), but also at the time that i finished playing, i was assured all was in order, only to have things start to get sticky weeks later. and then, day by day, they began fiddling around, deleting my entire balance, accounting refusing managerial requests etc. and the thing that gets me is when they say "you never should have been allowed this bonus" and then continue "so we're returning [half] your deposit with the same bonus attached for you to try again".

and i agree, players that ignore the accredited list and go depositing willy-nilly may have to take their lumps from time to time. this experience has opened my eyes something fierce; no matter how many complaints you read about, you never think it'll happen to you until it has and you're embroiled in a struggle to recover your "loss". i recently read the 26 pages of the cipher thread (don't know how i missed it when it was live) and it is frightening that someone can get suckered for such considerable sums and that anyone would do such a thing. and yes i do play almost exclusively with bonuses to hopefully ensure profitable sessions, but i only venture into new casinos when my wins from the monthlies i play (inter, wh, totesport, etc) are enough that i can afford to play more in that month, or if a new casino opens up and looks promising (such as tila and playboy), or if i have an offer from an affiliate to get a kickback of my entire deposit or close to it.

i hope you didn't take any of my words to imply i am angry at your response time to this. i will admit it is aggravating to me, but only because i could really use the money that is rightfully mine, and as yet my powers of persuasion and voice of reason are falling on their deaf ears. i fully understand you need to take vacations, and even if you were here that you have many things to do in your work such that my particular case is insignificant. there undoubtedly are other PABs ahead of me in line, and players getting gypped for more than i am, so i can sit tight as long as necessary. i just look forward to getting this resolved in a fair way, and my own efforts thus far have been futile. so far they have taken all my money, including my initial deposit, and only returned the amount of my second deposit to my account with sticky bonus attached and some 30k wagering to release it. i won't play that just to maybe get part of my invested money back from them. thus, i'm calling in the big guns (that's you  ) to show them the error in their ways.

if they want to be retarded about this, they at the very least owe me 450 (all figures in USD), the total of my deposited funds, and if they can't discount the signup bonus play (as clearly i should have received that bonus at the very least) they owe me 1119. and the rightful sum i feel i'm owed considering i did everything they told me at the time i accepted and used the second bonus, and i did have it verified in live chat etc, and even weeks later was told everything was still good apart from the inclusion of sticky bonus funds in a withdrawal request, is 1969. i can accept 1119 if they maintain and show some kind of proof that i (through my own fault or that of the staff member who the manager admits misled me) received the second bonus in error, but anything short of that is denying my wins on the signup which for the life of me i cannot tell how this would be possible. and i've told them this likely ten times or more, and yet they still don't reveal any explanation of how i would have been ineligible to collect the signup. i just want this fixed, so i can move on (to meister-accredited pastures of course ;) ). please help me, i love you long time! :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy

you mean you don't send goons out to kneecap these operators? :D

promising news

first i was insulted when i had email from aj. it was a bonus offer! and it began by saying "a special offer for those that where [sic] not able to cash out...". i was incensed. but i calmly wrote back to the effect of "hi aj i was unable to cash out because you confiscated all my funds, and i cannot take up your new offer as you know because i have bonus in my account right now. you keep promising to look into my issue so please get back to me." he replied and told me to call him, and i responded saying i preferred not to phone both because i am poor at it (both speaking and dialling lol) and so i can keep record of our communications.

i dropped a name, saying i'd seen similar complaints here and made sure to add that i'd seen betroyal had resolved an issue with one of the players who posted here. i told him that gave me hope and i was looking forward to having my issue taken seriously. then of course i threw in that i cannot continue to play there while this is in error and even then i would remain apprehensive about putting my money there in future. i then appealed to him to take this opportunity to prove his commitment to running a decent operation, by listening and explaining and ruling fairly. and to my surprise what did i just receive as response (and all within 24 hours of the first communication i spoke of), but this:

Bob I am so sorry you feel this way, and that you had to go threw all this.

You forget that I did ask you for some time and patience hence this was a delicate situation that I could not solve promptly.

We only spoke twice and I was very clear that I had to speak to the proper people about this for a solution, and that I needed your up most tolerance.

I never intended to cheat you; I was actually always defending you. I just had to get my figures straight before I made a decision.

I called you today to let you know that you will be receiving your payment of $1969, and that I value your business very much.

I would love for you to start fresh from the beginning with me.

I will be in the office Monday at 1 pm EST. I hope you can reach me by phone or e-mail so I can give you the details you want.

Regards,

AJ

Casino Manager

woohoo this is great news, apart from him still calling me bob..*sigh*. i am going to reply to him now just to say that's a terrific resolution and i'm glad he has came around to sorting this. now we have also the unfortunate hurdle that is neteller to jump, since i cannot take payment to there. looks like i will be waiting another month for a cheque or some such, because i don't see any other way i can be paid, unless maybe i used moneybookers one of the times but i don't believe i did. but at least it looks like i'm getting paid.

i don't know if this came about spontaneously from within betroyal and aj just came to his senses, or if my use of meister's name helped out, or if meister himself intervened in any way and helped turn them to the light. if you did take any efforts bryan i thank you, and give me a heads up if you're ever going to fallsview casino, i'll try to come down and buy you a beer and a buffet if you fancy. do you drink stella? it's one of the most popular european beers here, of course we have loewenbraeu heineken and some others as well. but canadian beer has its own merits, and is highly renowned (i find it similar to koelsch, which is mighty tasty in its own right).

so hopefully this is the beginning of the end of this saga. and if they pay me the full amount 1969 plus leave those funds in my account to possibly win, i would give them a lot of credit for letting me have a freeroll on them after all these hijinks, but that's wishful thinking. i'll just knock on wood and sit tight until monday, then go hit up aj on live chat and get the skinny on how to proceed.

and let me say it now, thanks to everyone for their input on this thread and to the community in general and biggup to bryan for running such a fantastic site. keep spinning and keep winning guys! and make sure to quit when you're ahead, but also quit short of going broke if you can't ever seem to get ahead lol! and stay strong in these trying times america! but don't falsely impersonate canadians to circumvent the rules in place, because you're only ruining it for others and putting yourself at risk also. on a slightly random note i wonder if anyone has ever gambled from antarctica; i'm sure they have internet there to talk to the homeland, and i'm equally sure there are times it must be quite boring there.

..---..-.--..this just in-..-.---.-....

well 1pm monday has just passed. i went over to betroyal to see if indeed aj would be in the office where he hoped i would get in touch with him. and that we did, my dear brothers. anyway, aj was very personable, he said see i told you just give me some time i had many issues to fix up when coming over to the casino etc, and in short order my casino balance has been upgraded from 875 with 0 withdrawable to 1969 fully withdrawable!

we are still discussing payout options since neteller went down for me, fastest of course being wire/fedex, but we might have something in the works whereby i get paid to moneybookers, not allowed by the site but they said in my instance they might do it. sidebar: because i noticed recently that to fund moneybookers, i have to do it as a bank transfer and it incurs wire fees etc which is ghey. so if i can find a way of getting money in there that i can then use to gamble with, then i will have a roll from which to draw, without having to transfer in money. so anyways, aj is going to talk more with accounting about a payout timeframe and facility using mb, and will get back to me later in the day.

aj also mentioned "i have great customer service background since working with nine.com" so yeah i thought i'd toss that in to see if anyone wants to google the new manager of betroyal, his real name is alan j____ or something i think. did i say what it was in this thread somewhere? anyways yeah, i'm thrilled right now. i was really losing hope and then out of the blue i get a prompt resolution. that's meister power for ya!

I'm glad it seems like it's going to work out Happy. Call me a pessimist, but I'd save the "happy" dance til you have the money in your hand if I were you. Don't wanna jinx yourself!!

BTW, Moneybookers offers payout by cheque to Canadian clients. I have withdrawn from there and had my cheque(s) in about eight business days from time of request.

about the moneybookers, to load it up though is now a lengthy process and you must go into your bank website to do it, and it's classed as an international wire transfer and thus i'm guessing it'll carry a 30 dollar fee or whatever. so if i can get some casino to pay to moneybookers then i will not need to load it up. that's all i was saying.

Ahhhh, I see. Yeah, I do the same thing. If I have a cashout, I take it to Moneybookers. If it's a fair size, I'll withdraw a portion via cheque and leave the remainder to play with. Gotcha.

welcome back by the way pina. hope all is well. and i am glad such a valued member as yourself hails from canada. everyone here was missing you deeply, and no doubt suffering boisterous bitch withdrawals ;)

short update, 1000 of the 1969 is approved for transfer to moneybookers from what i'm told, and the other 969 is pending until tomorrow or something, not sure why it must be in two chunks but i'm chill since the wheels are in motion now. aj is still calling me bob though, but i am hesitant to correct him and risk setting something off.

off topic: my girlfriend won 5000 in one of those medicinal research support lotteries. maybe now she will loosen up and drop a couple coins in when we hit niagara again next week. she doesn't believe in gambling hehe. i just want to stay somewhere with a jacuzzi in the room.

news

apparently they neglected to inform me they were sending via western union, so after 10 days of checking moneybookers, i went to betroyal live chat and found this out, along with the details for the wire. wu's website says that indeed this money is ready for pickup by me, so in the morning or so i am going to go grab it. problem is, the amount is in USD but i live in canada. the wu-licenced places like a grocery store or cheque-cashing place i don't think would have american cash, but i heard wires were paid in cash. where does the conversion take place? can wu issue a cheque in USD that i can deposit into my bank and have it converted there? how does it work exactly?

wires blow, e-stuff is the new wave... stupid neteller, they were so good when i could use them... i got some money going to moneybookers finally, courtesy of 32red, i took them for a few quid off of a deposit of 30, so hopefully i can play strictly off the ewallets from now on. icannot seem to work usemybank either, i would like to try it at one place in particular...

Do you have a Money Mart anywhere near you Happy? If so, that's the best option to retrieve a WU in US funds. Just fill out your receiver slip (the yellow one) for the US dollar amount, and they'll do the conversion and give you your funds in Canadian dollars. Be warned, the conversion rate sucks right now...it's only about 9% or so. Our dollar is actually doing well for a change.

Did I miss something here?

How is HGB any different than kakata for playing at rogues.

Mind you, I get it. Some are horribly rogue, and some aren't. But rogue is rogue.
Happy, when you get your money.. you better give it to charity.

I've defended, in open forum, casinos of the virtual group. Know why? Because I have yet in my short tenure seen anyone not paid.

I started with prism, because that was my experience. Later I saw palace of chance. When I looked at the pitched bitches I saw one in six months. That is two managers, that's good me thinks.

betroyal? i dunno. you did happy... you knew, and you are doing exactly what kakata did here. you got paid because they love ya, because the Meister saw it, or because they would have paid you anyway eventually.

Why on earth would I play at a casino that I have no confidence in?

Why would I play anywhere that they rip the other guy off to pass the savings on to you? I would'nt.

It's a damn gamble and i hope you learned your lesson, your cashout don't mean sh*t to a sagebrush. Bring this group into the forefront or forget them, but don't waddle dude.

You have a responsibilty as a denizen here or you don't. I think you do.

I still stand for the open fex of player and house

Hi Happy,
You, like alot of us were hit below the belt. I am sorry to hear about your issues and I do hope you get paid. (I'm a relatively new "newbie" and I found this site the day after my hit) I hit a casino that is now rogue.. palace of chance. Be thankful to get anything, let alone how it is received! The manager you talk about sounds exactly like the one I have been dealing with.
I got the same promises and excuses. (my thread is "I hit the random jackpot at the palace of chance..."). I originally was going to reply to this thread reagarding the "manager saying acounting denied it" Which again sounded Identical to what I was told! (copy of that chat is in my thread)
This statement by any casino manger makes me rotf & lmao  ! We learn the hard way to read the T&C's from word one to the very end, and then they say somethng completely ludicrous like that! As if we did not read the part in the T&C's about the "casino manager" having final say on all cashouts.
I certainly wish you the best! Good luck by the sounds of it you will be paid! I would take the Western Union and write it off as..another lesson learned.
(I am still waiting for the Western Union number if it did/does indeed get sent) A fraction of my winnings, but... lesson learned!

@ lojo: huh?

i am a little different because i didn't go back and play there after hearing how horrible they were, and in fact i was under the assumption they had been dealt out of whatever group they were with some years ago that had created problems. in the time i had been here following the forum, i had never seen any threads relating to them, except for issues from 2002-2004? when they were running playtech. i went there strictly for their signup, which was 100% to 200 with like 15-20x and pontoon/bj allowed. as this was right up my alley i gave it a shot.

they only became rogued again at the time when my issue was getting very tumultuous. the only thing they say caused the disruptions was a change in management, a claim which i have called upon anyone here to affirm or deny. after some weeks they came around and found in my favour which was of course the fair decision given the course of events. i made a poor choice in where to play, but in the end my money was not stolen so it's no harm no foul.

of course this sort of conduct will not earn my further custom, but i didn't see here anywhere someone who got outright screwed over from them (in fact another player here was paid by them recently as well), and with the new management perhaps they have a chance of flying right. i have no desire to be the guinea pig for this, but if they clean up their act from here on in, why shouldn't someone play there? without evidence to the contrary, it seems as though betroyal is trying to play by the rules.

if indeed the management/ownership is new, then they ought to be given at least a clean slate to impress their new standards based upon their rules. i believe with the change-over that many bonus rules were amended, perhaps severely complicating their appraisal of my play if they did not take note under which conditions i undertook the bonus offers. i don't intend to support them, though it's kind of stockholm syndrome-y, and since they've done right by me and i don't have sufficient evidence to believe contrary, i have to give them the benefit of the doubt as to their credibility. if they truly "just love me" and go on to perpetuate the roguedom that darkens their name, then we can all agree they're scam artists, thieves, etc. but if they have somehow had a change of heart or the new staff doesn't follow the virtual party line, we have to be like jesus and absolve them of the past sins committed under their name. isn't it written somewhere about judging not the sins of the father/past generations... i will recommend to aj that they get a new rep on board here who can maybe present a face for this operation and show us what they have to say about it all. provided these wires go through without incident, at this point it's a non issue and only time will tell if they will continue to live up to their notoriety.

and going back to kakata, he confesses he knows it's wrong to play there, but will continue to do so anyways and risk being burned again. i do not intend to play anymore at bet royal unless they prove positively that they are paying players and abiding by the rules they set out, which as i mentioned have been amended since i played there that they probably net tidy profits without having to wrongfully withhold players' money. i appreciate your zeal, lojo, but i don't feel mine and kakata's situations are similar enough that i could be as guilty as he of promoting/supporting rogue outfits. i am merely expressing my relief i will be getting paid my winnings, not praising/recommending the casino and glossing over the obvious concerns one should have about the place.

i don't recommend betroyal, especially with their new bonus terms, and their staff is quite possibly fledgling and they need time to present themselves as a reputable operation before they can be taken seriously. but as it stands now, this is not beyond them and the proving ground will be how they handle the carried over players such as myself with pending cashouts during the swap, and how they treat the new players playing under the terms set forth by this new staff.if all the outstanding complaints are resolved and no new ones come forth, then they may indeed be able to get off the rogues list.

mystic, thanks for that input. yes it is a shame some will have to suffer for us to learn lessons, and in this case i am relieved the suffering was only in time and not actual money lost. however, this sort of experience does make one realize to be more cautious with one's money. it may be nearing the end of bonuses for me, since the only appealing ones left are from the same type of place that offers what they can't produce. sometimes the itch to play can be so impulsive that doing even a half hour of research before depositing can seem cumbersome. but it does pay to know ahead of time what youre getting into. one bad apple spoils the bunch, and if he can rip players off so can i, and lump onto that the poor regulation and wilful blindness to the blatant misrepresentations and breaches of contract or enactments of "FU" clauses, and navigating through the world of casinos' jargon nearly takes all the fun out of playing them.

pina, yes there are several money marts in my town. i am from london, so i have easy access to any service imaginable. i have four liquor and three beer stores (and probably six or seven timmie's) in a ten minute radius of my house lol. thanks for that heads up, i was also thinking they'd be best since they deal in money as a business. i should probably head to bed soon so i can go collect my money and pet fish in the day hours. good day all

Happy, I place myself in the same camp you so easily played out of. I am rogue. I put my money down with fortune lounge and I have dropped a few pence with virtual casinos. Why? Because they pay when I win, quick easy no BS. Have I deposited at FL since the problem? NO. Have I deposited
2virtual? yes. I don't feel good about it when I see anyone struggling for their money, but I don't see much struggle.
I just wanted you to admit that you had nothing coming from betroyal because you knew better and you had no reason to bitch here. You are an experienced player. I was bitching more at pina for caring how or if you got your money when I compared you playing at betroyal to kakata playing with the real rogues. She tore him a new one. Granted, virtual and crystal are two entirely different animals, and kakata's shilling is far different than my shilling a probationary, then not recommended casino, and your unwitting shilling of betroyal. But shilling it is, and shill you did in the long run.

Getcher money bra', and you will.

Pina... He had nothin comin, he knew better.

Whoa there. As you said yourself lojo, two entirely different animals. Happy played at BetRoyal knowing they'd had past problems, and he had never been personally involved in any thread here regarding BetRoyal, wondering if he'd be paid or not.

Kakata had already been through it with Crystal Palace and went right back for more punishment...but then actually had the nerve to come posting again about his experience after "almost" being burned once. If Happy were to go back and play again at BetRoyal, and get burned...he would get exactly the same reaction from me that Kakata got. He's waited forever for his money, and he's been going back and forth with them for ages. Cashing out should never take that long, or include that much stress or work. If he's silly enough to run back there and give them his money, I will have zero sympathy for him. Kakata had "first hand" experience and willingly went back, and stated that he would continue to go back.

Added in to all this is the fact that the problems with Crystal Palace et al. in the last 6 months to a year are well documented here at CM, and as far as I'm concerned, anyone who plays there is just asking for trouble.

Same goes for you lojo....should you ever get burned by Virtual, just don't expect one iota of sympathy from anyone here. You've publicly stated that you've researched them, and gone so far as to defend them...play at your own risk.

Yeah, you right. I was over zealous. And looking back in time I see Happy was only playing at a non-accredited, not a rogue when he played. Just like I started playing at Prism when they were in the same 'condition'.

I have 'defended' the current manager, Chris, because I haven't seen any issues and have always been treated fairly.

But I also respect CM's rulings. I don't know if you saw my post about the quandry: https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/gambler-customer-cm-member.17537/

Of course I wouldn't expect any sympathy or help if I got burned. But I would report it to the forum, pride be damned - it's the right thing to do.

I'm not naming names, but several respected posters here still play in the Virtual Group, and I don't think they'd stay mum if they had an unresolved issue either.

My deposits at V are negligable in my mind. If any one has guidance on this I'm open to criticism: I deposit about $100 a month. If and when they are in the Meister's good graces again, I'll speak to Chris and ask for the 'lifetime deposit' max cashout foolery to be removed, and uigea permitting, I'll treat them as a casino of choice, with deposits to match.

As they are not accredited, I don't post winning screenshots anymore.

********

To all of your points Pina, right on.
To Happy's explanation. I see now.

haha what's up folks? loj and pina, don't make me get the hose/broom! it's all good. we don't need to go around pointing fingers. the thing that worries me about kakata is that he thinks he "gets the luckiest" at crystal, and if he keeps losing elsewhere, it's quite possible he might dump a huge deposit like 5k or something down to get a mad bonus maybe and then even if he wins he's done for. a juicy 5k deposit would definitely be worth shafting a player for.

as i see it, there is no big harm if one is just tossing 50 or even 100 here or there regardless of whose place it is, i mean if casinos themselves were casino games, then rogue places are like roulette and trusty places like bj. if you throw your 50 on roulette it might easily blow away in the wind. if you put your fifty on bj, you stand a better chance of getting it back. but i mean if mr x can throw a fifty into a rogue casino and consistently quadruple it up or more, then by all means keep doing that until it fails you, so long as your track record is still way ahead there then it won't be so bad if one time you don't get paid. just keep the amounts (deposits, and cashouts too really) low enough you could afford to just consider it lost before you even play, and responsible gamblers should have enough backup that each deposit itself really is insignificant. and if you win too much, they might just decide not to pay, so try to avoid wins even into the four figures. a casino might just screw you for 5k or even 2k of true legit wins.

at least my thread is getting traffic now lmao. i wish more people were talking when i was actually getting screwed by them. well i slept through the whole day again! summer vacation rules... so no news on the wire. i plan to go get it at like 9 or 10 am and also grab mickey d's breakfast and a pet fish, since i just woke up now i can stay up til then no problem. wish i had cash to gamble with tonight. i don't know anywhere to get a good bonus right now except hippojo which i can't afford to play yet, and hopefully those guys are hooking up moneybookers in near future? because right now i don't think i can even cash out in any form from there if i did play. anyways, i need to get this wire, i just been slacking, and then i need to win some more money starting hopefully at hj. 8000 wr for 100 GBP bonus, not the best or worst, all games allowed, i am going to double-check that this means what it should, ie are some games always forbidden and all games means all except for: .... anyways i'm gonna finish reading the boards and then play some ps2. ciao for now. i'll write back when i get the cheque from the wire. pEace

I wasn't out to embarass ya bra, and i wouldn't be skittish about being paid. I'll assume you have been if you don't post otherwise, why wouldn't ya be?

Up to a point in time V didn't know me from adam, didn't know me as a poster here, and they did me right. So it couldn't have been 'the lucky washer', thing?

We have a quandry. I sleep nights okay. Pretty much.

All I ever wanted was to lay down my money and win or lose in a fair environment. Sorry if i took off on you for incongruencies i was feeling in myself.

My girl sez I oughta quit drinking now, I think she oughta quit bitching... just thought I'd share that :)

western union would not pay out the transfer citing that gambling online is illegal in canada. but now they (money mart/wu) have all my personal info from my id, as well as my bank card number, and they know that i gamble online. if it really is supposed to be illegal, this could have serious consequences with my bank etc. fuck this is so gay! thanks a lot america! i should move to iceland like chess champ bobby fischer.

That sucks. To go through all that just to have the funds denied. I'm sure something will work out.

I didn't know gambling online was illegal in Canada, I thought it was just illegal to run an online casino from within the Territories.

Good luck.
