Welcome back dude. You've been missed! :D

Thank you thank you. I missed all of you guys / girls. Had to take a break, to prove to myself I wasn't addicted. I'm glad everyone is still here.

Lol, knowing I'm an addict, I didnt go anywhere :p (forum, not slots my dear lurking reps)

This is very disappointing. I love their games, though I still haven't figured out how to deposit. I guess I won't bother now, unless they drop this policy, as I almost never play with a bonus.

I inquired about this after my first deposit. From my understanding it's Winaday/Slotland's
way of giving more money to new players so they're able to explore their games better.

It's just their way. From what I read, there is no max-cash out from winnings won off the
welcome bonus.

Their tournaments are also different than what most players are used to. A player basically
has to play with his/her real money in their tournaments.. No buy-ins, (scratches head)

I've deposited there 3 or 4 times now and there are no bonuses attached to my deposits after
the initial two.

I stand behind Winaday/Slotland and trust their site, but how they operate might not be everyone's
cup of tea, especially if your able to play anywhere you'd like; (non U.S.)

With all that said, a simple check-box when depositing, asking if you would like a welcome bonus with
your first deposit should be implemented.

Exactly what about their bogus "promotions" strikes you as fair. I can't believe anyone would stand behind this group after what I just exposed. They make you take the bonus with every deposit and the wagering requirements are ridiculous. I had 80 dollars in my account and had to wager almost 2,000 dollars to cash out any winnings. I wasn't even given a choice to take the bonus if that's not scamming your players I don't know what is. Thank god I didn't risk a lot of money at these two scam shacks, but hey if you like em god help you.

Perhaps what you explained here hasn't put off their players. Like I mentioned, Slotland has been around for donkey years - and they have a pretty big and loyal following, and nearly zilch complaints. Search the forum here - you won't find many. PABs? I can't recall more than one or two in the past decade.

You stated your claim, you refused to PAB - now leave it be. You have no right to drag them through further mud and argue "how bad they are" with other players. You uncovered something that may or may not be brought up with them, said goodbye to 125 in your own words and now its time to move on.

Many accredited casinos on here that will treat you great! Go have fun :)

Slotland warning

Yes they are mandatory in every sense of the word. That's what really blew me away, i'd never heard of such a thing either. I was told via live chat and by email. You can take my word for it.

Exactly what happened to me few days ago.
Question is whats next ?

Sophie

I'm just going by the CM standard here:

Must remove any bonus and associated playthrough requirements at the request of the player if play has not commenced.

The rep clearly told me I could not play a straight up first deposit when asked. My Q in the beginning was to the effect of ' Hi, I saw your welcome bonus and it's automatic. Can I just deposit and play the deposit and request the bonus be removed'

the answer was no

Well I'd say that not removing bonuses on request is against the accreditation standards.

Bryan?

1800€ wager on 80€ is not even near to "ridicilous". Especially as the bonus is 200%+.
I just couple days ago received 300% bonus offer from betsafe. Deposited 30€, got 90€ bonus on it. Wager was 5400€ :).

But I do agree, it is really bad, that bonuses are mandatory. Really stubid policy, but I dont think that is done in predatorious means.

I talked to Jack at Win A Day, here's the answer I got. It's looking promissing and along the same lines that they have mentioned before. I figured a VIP manager might be one of the better ones to talk to.

Hi xxxx,

Thanks for your feedback at the forum and for your note.

In general, all automatic bonuses are mandatory unless requested otherwise, where admittedly one might need to be quite persuasive to get the bonus removed, which might also lead to account termination in some rare cases should it be red-flagged during the scrutiny the account gets under.

On the other hand, all bonuses at Winaday will soon start to be handled via bonus codes, which means it will be solely upon you if you are okay with the bonus terms hence grabbing the bonus, or letting it go instead if you find the bonus terms too challenging. Subsequently, a similar change is about to be introduced at Slotland, although there is no exact date yet.

I'll be happy to check the other forum you're talking about, if you kindly let me know the address or send me an invite. Much appreciated!

Cheers Jack

It's nice to know they will consider removing it, and as Xraided mentioned in his post it's only applied to the first two deposits? <~~~ Yes badly worded statement / question.

It still rubs me wrong though, having to fight so hard to get it removed, and then as you mentioned risk getting your account terminated. Normally it's the other way around, you have people joining casinos to abuse the bonus. I know you wrote "rare cases" but for the life of me I'm not seeing what cases that would that be. I join, request the bonus be removed, they refuse, so I demand / beg / plead, then either they ban me or possibly remove it? Kind of a bad way to get started at a casino, when all you want to do is play.

It's great that the casino has so many vets vouching for them, that alone would make me want to play there. However as a fairly experienced player I don't need nor want a bonus to try their games. I rarely take bonuses (expect for 1 or 2 of my regularly frequented casinos), and being forced to....meh just doesn't sit right in my mind.

And I plan on doing just that, however some sites need to be drug through the mud a bit. Also, I didn't intend to attack the other poster it just confused me on his loyalty. Until these two sites change their business practice it should be only fair to put them in the rogue list for unethical business practice. Of course this is just my suggestion, thanks.

That's a bit harsh, considering it's apparently only on the first two deposits. They should however update their T/Cs. The policy doesn't sit right with me of course, just don't think it's rogue worthy, nor do I think they need to be dragged through the mud. The main point being it being limited to the first two deposits. Originally I thought it was on every deposit.

The first two deposits? Where exactly were you told this?, if I might ask. I was told by slotland that the first ten deposits were matched and the first five by winaday? That being said anytime there are current "promotions" running they are automatically added regardless if you want to accept them. If they are giving different people different answers to the same questions that's even more alarming IMO.

Customer service has long since said different things, and miscommunication is nothing new. But I was referencing X-Raided's actually experience, instead of what's been said. And I trust him to be telling the truth about his experience. He stated on page 4 of this thread the following:

X-Raided said:

the initial two.

That's what I was referencing when I stated two deposits..........

All that aside, unless the process has changed you probably should stop trying to drag them through the mud as you put it, if you're planning on filing a PAB. That sort of thing, and threads like this, can effect the PAB. As I said unless something has changed.

No, I'm not filing anything nor am I trying to recoup any loses from the site. It would cost me more in Tylenol from the headache I Would get probably. What I am trying to do is let it be known how they operate so other new players who are considering playing at these two sites won't be fooled by their "generous match bonus" conditions. Ok, all of this being said, I NOW REST MY CASE.

Please refer to the forum rules - specifically 1.11

1.11 - Please do not exploit this board to promote your own personal agenda. If the moderators (and members) feel that you are spamming the board with links or ad copy to your website, harassing members with agenda laden posts, or consistently ragging on a casino that did you wrong, etc., your account may be suspended.

We get it. You don't like how you were treated, and you've made your point. Perhaps the casino will review their policies and make a change (which seems to be the case). That's what we we'd like to accomplish with this thread - not a casino bash-fest.
