TY so much, I miss you around here. I did win, it's time to stop trying to win for a while.

Well not entirely, you can't blame a gal for trying.

I just make sure I'm not trying to win that big anytime soon, it's a road to ruin.

I'm a better gambler than I was 20 years ago. I'm so thankful for this win, but I will continue playing within my budget as I have fore quite a number of years.

I gambled outside my budget for quite a number of years, it didn't make me happy.

If I spend this money wisely, I can still continue to gamble out of my day-to-day budget.

And I took all the money I asked for help to not play and played it, since I have money coming into pay for my trip.

So far I'm not had terrible luck, but I haven't cashed out.

Sometimes it's worse when you are winning. Makes you think you are lucky.

If I do what I want to do with this win, I can still gamble.

If I lose control, I'll have to stop.

I dont' want to stop.

And I know me, let's spend it before I gamble it. Spending is paying down a second mortgage I took for home improvements. Had I never gambled, I might not had needed that second mortage. But I might have, because I would have spent it otherwise, not all that great at delayed gratification.

I'm nobody's hero.

But no so bad if I'm somebody's "there but for the grace of god"

Well, I promised to keep you posted, and I have a couple of updates.

Wednesday I received an email from the Casino Manager that $6400 had been processed to Moneybookers, and that I should have it no later than Friday.

I logged into my casino account, and was quite pleased to see that I was still given the Thursday Gold Rush bonus, and had bonus offers still. Needless to say I'm well up at Club Gold, so I was quite pleased to see I was still being offered bonuses. But I'd logged in to check that things had moved from pending, etc.

And the amounts didn't quite tally... There was 50 that was paid on Monday from a prior win, and it was actually $6350 processed. But the correct amount remains pending. I wanted to make sure they didn't pay that $50 twice. I don't need any extra bad juju for taking something that is not rightfully mine. I was reassured it was processed, but was told it was processed as a number of payments. I happily played and lost my freechip.

I'd also like to take the time to explain something I didn't understand at first, because paying me $6400 didn't quite tally with my understanding of a $5000 limit, but I wasn't going to complain.

My VIP level had moved from level 1 to level 2, and when my level changed, my monthly limit had increased to $7,000 per month, and with other cash outs earlier in the month, they have processed this amount. I'd also gotten a nice unexpected freebie as a welcome to my new level, and an email that did tell me my cashout limits had increased, but I'd kind of forgotten that detail. My rate earning comp points increased too, and I had retained that fact.

Because I didn't realize my limit was $7K instead of $5K, and I am expecting $4600 in October, I had written to the casino asking if an increase in my monthly limit was possible, because otherwise I might be waiting until November for a modest win. If they couldn't do it for me, I understand, and I'd be back to play in November. Dino was good enough to up my VIP level a notch, so my monthly max is now 10K a month. I have been a loyal player the past four months. I've had great service, great bonuses, a number of cashouts, and I've played every week for months, despite a few extra days wait.

So, $6350 to Moneybookers by Friday, told to me on Wednesday. I don't even know how many times I have logged into Moneybookers hoping it was there. I've been so stressed out (not overly worried, and happy and excited, but still that is stress too), today I logged in to talk to chat, hoping I could catch finance because of a difference in casino time, well before Friday is over.

Rogier could not have been more helpful. But my payment(s) were sent back to my Visa instead, and no one emailed me! It's usually 3 to 5 business days back to Visa, and that's true most places I play. While Moneybookers always sends an email notification when money is received my prepaid Visa does not. I'm not sure how many times I've checked my email as well.

Some of the transfers to Visa were received today, which is only two days, the fastest I've had payments back to Visa. Might even have more trickle in after 7 pm.

So, one small minus for not informing me that they had changed my preferred payment method, and a huge thumbs up for all the hand holding from Rogier, Dino and other members of the Club Gold Team.

Now I can spend my time logging into Visa instead, lol.

There's more on my prepaid than I want to spend gambling this weekend, so I think I will just go pay some of the bills I would pay next week out of my rental income.

But I am a gambler, and there was a little earmarked to play back of course, so I'm pleased to have play this weekend as well.

I have a limit of $5K at one time paid onto my prepaid VISA, but a balance of 10K possible. Since it's a series of payments, I don't think I'll have any issues, but it was part of the reason I didn't request to VISA rather than Moneybookers. I'll actually have cash in hand sooner than had I received it to Moneybookers today, and with lower fees involved. I haven't joined a casino yet that didn't reserve the right to pay by their preferred method of payment. I don't have a problem with the change, but it would have been nice to informed, but I think it's an oversight I'll easily forgive. And I have a great deal of confidence in the support team there, so I'm not hesitant to ask.

Now just what date is early October? lol.

I have so much more empathy for some our other members sitting where they have exceeded max cashouts. I'd always kind of thought "Gee, I'd like to be in that predicament"

There's been personal stuff as well in my life, it's been a heck of a week. One of my nearest and dearests suffered a stroke, but he is doing very very well, but it was quite different two days ago.

I'd like to close with part of Dino's response to my request for an increased payout:

At your current VIP level (Level 2) unfortunately I am unable to make the exception.
However since I do appreciate that you have been loyal to our casino since the day
you signed up I will make the arrangements and increase your VIP Level from 2 to 3 in
October and also arrange for your max cashout out to be raised to CAD10,000 instead
of the current CAD 6,400.
Obviously in the instance that you win a massive jackpot in October we will
re-discuss for a more suitable cashout. :)

Hang in there jazzy:)
Looks like smooth sailing so far, im rooting!
Don't be like me, i just gave the wrong example with a possible total of 5K this month, which i could have but didn't cash out.
I guess i was just aiming to get up there with ya :p
Seriously though, your almost there, it's the biggest step (for me) to actually press the cashout button.
Take my bad example this month as your extra motivation to stay strong!
Good luck:)

Congrats on the win, I've been following the thread closely - I've always liked Club Gold and thought that their support was pretty damn nice. Unfortunately they've dropped Spain as of a month or two ago, which is highly annoying, but they were one of the only Playtech casinos I used to play at. Highly reccomend them, and it's nice you won so much at a reputable one and know you're gonna get your winnings!

Rest of the Visa payments received today on the first installment. So less than a week until cash in hand, which is wonderful. It feels more like lifetime than a week.

I havent' reversed a penny, and as I think I mentioned before, part of my plans were to play a little this weekend. All my fav casinos got a little visit. It's not that long a list, but Club Gold sure has earned a place on it!

That is so cool, thanks for keeping us up to date. I have a Club Gold account but to be honest I was a little leery of depositing there because of issues with max cashout. lol not that I usually have to worry about getting ahead at all, but it would figure that if I did I'd be stuck like that joke - I won a million dollars! They're going to pay me a dollar a year for a million years. ;)

But it's nice to see that someone's getting treated well - usually it's the input from other players that decides me on whether to play somewhere or not.

Logged into Club Gold this morning to play my weekend insurance bonus. I no longer have any withdrawals pending! When they said "early October" I guess they really meant it!

Live support spoke with payments, but they are unable to tell me yet whether it's being paid to Moneybookers (as requested) or back to Visa (also fine by me) as my last payments were. They are especially busy at the first of the month, so asked me to check back with them tomorrow and they will have an answer for me then.

Good news!

Just make sure as soon as your funds hit Moneybookers that you get them out of there ASAP.
I am STILL waiting to see if I will ever get back the money which Moneybookers allowed to be stolen from my account 16 months ago...

Yesterday I was too late to get answers to my remaining withdrawals.

But today Mario was able to speak to the cashier, and I've been given a payment schedule:

.Mario: 2000 is scheduled for 6th
.Mario: 2000 is scheduled for 13th
.Mario: 667 is scheduled for the 20th

JASMINEBED: do you know what method

will be used?
.Mario: Let me check that for you :)
.Mario: It will all go back to your

card

While obviously I would have been happier with one lump sum paid this week, I've been kept in the loop, and I now know when to be looking for payments on my card.

Final payment made

I should have updated this earlier, but I received both $2,000 payments, and I've been informed that the last one of $667 was paid yesterday (a day early, lol). I have no reason not to believe them, they have kept every payment promise they have made me.

I've kept playing at Club Gold, they continue to offer me bonuses, many of which are very attractive. It is very important to understand the terms though, most exclude play on the Branded and jackpot slots.

I haven't had any cashouts lately, but that's partly down to my cashout point having shifted, lol. There certainly were a couple of occasions.

The max cashout of $5,000 a month to start is low, but I never expected to win that kind of money. The amount does rise as your VIP status rises.

The support team has been wonderful, I thought they were wonderful before the big win. And I appreciate the help from the manager Dino as well.

Club Gold has earned themselves a loyal player, and although it was a lengthy process to receive all my funds, it has been well worth the wait.

If you are a high roller, you might find the monthly withdrawal limits low, but other than that, I have no hesitation recommending them.

Hi Jasminebed! Have you been thinking of maybe record when you play with high bet or atleast record when you get free spins/bons?

I am bumpng a really old thread, and it was helpful for me to re-read it.

As most of you know, I had a big win this year. And it's been hard to go back to low-rolling.

I've had big losses, not always high-rolling, just too much play.

Had a session of medium rolling that went well today, that morphed into high rolling. Not the sad to see go Club Gold of course. There is an operation with that name I would not trust at all.

Back to having lost all that much in the past few months plus more in line with my normal budget.

I did step back and bet lower after my holiday, I've had some more modest cashouts. And I had a decent cashout before betting high today.

I think once in a while you should push your luck, especially when you are ahead on a deposit YOU WERE EXPECTING AND WILLING TO LOSE.

You might play longer at 20 cents a spin only, but if you have met your cashout, cash some out and give it a go at $1. Or say you'll spend $100 at $3 bucks a pop.

But not of the time.

If you don't take those 5x cashouts often, you'll have to dip into your own pocket for money to play with. Those aren't even as often as we would wish.

I hope fortune favours you all at least once in a while

The planets have aligned for me in the last month, 63k in cash outs against 5.8k in deposits, but low rolling seems to be a thing of the past for me as well, plus I completely stopped playing with bonuses close to a year ago, way less stress.

Its funny how quick you change from a person when suddenly getting a big win. As person I changed as well when I hit the £23K jackpot at 32Red last year. Yeah I said I will not waste any and all will put away.

But I still managed to was around £12K. And it was because I could simply not deposit and play anywhere without betting at least £3 mostly i would bump my bets up to €£4-€£10. The fun was gone betting anywhere from 0.20 up to £2 was just oh I will never get anything nice so i am betting at least £3.

But I actually did do quite well in the months after. I was doing well again at 32red after blowing over £5K I got my bankroll up to over £300 and did £6 bets on dark knight. Suddenly I smashed a £6K win there and it was in one normal spins.
But end of day it went downhill fast and yes very fast paddypower i got used to win at suddenly was loss after loss. And before looking around i had blown over £7K at paddypower.

But at least lot of the money I won was put aside for something nice which I already said back in time. And a nice thing is that I got back to betting lower amounts and find it fun again. Just doing 0.20 or 0.40 bets can excite me again :D

So I guess really despite its hard is that when u get lucky and get a crazy win then you need at least to stay away from casinos for over 1 or 2 months. Or maybe have funds locked up safe and only play smaller amounts. I would suggest anyone who tries that to maybe make smalll deposit and see if its actually fun doing small bets. If there is no fun then stop playing and take longer break.

That has helped me and I have had some good wins again and trying to play clever. I like your advise very much as well. If you manage a withdrawal or win big amount then Withdraw most of it and leave rest to try do some higher stake spins. As that is the chance of really winning something that can change your life around :)

PS hope your are doing well mate and again congrats on your luck back in time :)
