Pretty sure it wasn't that long ago I turned 40, wtf




Still, short of getting a Porsche 911 and growing a ponytail, I opted to get the clippers out for a trusted #1 all over, not until after having visited my mum for my cameo. Mainly so as to not give her a fright, but mostly because last time I appeared shaven-headed she ripped the p*ss.

So there you go, another b-day passes, and all those dreams, aspirations and ambitions can be put on the back-burner for another twelve months!

Seemed to get a lot of Breaking Bad-influenced gifts this year, all the more bemusing as it was me who'd introduced the missus to it, better late than never I figured. So.......thankyou, dear? I guess?

Socks, chocolates, personal diaries (chortle) and other assortments befitting men post-40, albeit with the odd surprise in there, can't really complain.

Yet truth be told, the best present was merely a week before.....

This is is the Boomer shit I get happy about these days.....

Given that the old one was more likely to blow up and was from ca 1962, this is what it's all about baby!

The best present any bloke could have, even when paying all the bills!
