It doesn't - you still get gamble but always get a 3-scatter trigger so can only start on the green 8-12 wheel (lowest point of the gamble.)

This lessens the cost of the bonus buy by 20% but decreases the chance of bigger wins, so a slight lowering of variance via less chance of bigger returns from having more spins.

When Extra Chilli got out Casinos had option to pick 50% or 40% bonus buy, but UK casinos they use 50%, now Crypto using 40% bonus buy, is like RTP 96% 94% 92% on many other slots casinos they can pick up what RTP to run

Yeah the original release was best by far.

The buy (or reducing via the coins to £0) could bring in +4's

Had it the once I recall, 5 scatters and a +4 cascade started on 20FS.

Totally unfair on the newer (most) buys where it just brings up the bonus triggered screen and doesn't spin reels for chances of "extras".

In hindsight there was never any need to remove the coins in base game like VS and others did as this was never banned by UKGC.

Fair enough, yes they've dispensed with the reel spin. This means as well as getting basic 8 spins every time there's also no wins on the triggering spin. It's simplified the maths.

Yeah, maybe with the "spinning reels" version you have the chance of more than 3 scatters - but that has nothing to do with the reels spinning. It's all just "eye candy" before it gives you the number of free-spins that was already predetermined the mili-second you hit "Buy the Bonus"

Like the bonus buy on Genie Jackpots Megaways - I often had 4, 5 and even 6 scatters on that! All predetermined, of course.

But as I'm sure we all know - starting with more free spins does not guarantee a better result than a lesser number. Like with all these modern "Scratchcard Slots", it's the old predetermined word AGAIN!
