Hi,

I'm curious to learn and understand, how others in this niche are actively promoting their affiliation. I primarily focus on websites, with existing traffic and usually pointing to some casino related content. I do get some signups but the majority is only after the free bonus. I see alot of content creators active on Youtube with for example the many "Join our discord for a free give away" and be sucked into a channel with all it's worth.

Do you guys see the change in shift in this all? How do you tackle it? Currently i'm only active with website + email marketing.

deleted20230517 , can you see the Affiliate Issues forum? I'm guessing you might not because you're not marked as a Webmeister. Anyway, that's likely the best place for this topic.

As far as access goes I think you have access as soon as you join the Webmeisters group, but I am a little rusty on this and would have to check/test to be sure.

FWIW we used to do Casinomeister videos and podcasts. Back in the day they got a lot more traction than they do these days and we've more or less moved on to other things. I'm no SEO guy -- total blind spot for me TBH -- but from what I can tell from the work the SEO guys here do it's content, content, and content that make the difference. Obviously if you can build a Youtube channel -- or other social media -- that goes viral that is certainly going to help but not a lot of people can or are willing to pull that off. And there's the "flavour of the week" problem there too: what's a hit today is sh*t tomorrow, as we used to say in the film business.

Yeah you can move this to webmasters; thought i was in that group by now. Anyway;

SEO is what i mostly excell out; i can push anything in the course of a year from blanc to the top. But the casino business is a different one and really competetive - i mean you got big marketeers pushing out articles on sites that have a skyrocket authority, and almost impossible to enter unless you have a grand grand grand bag of chips to buy yourself in.

Youtube seems to be quite easy - the give aways are actually the promotion a channel needs. These days with these random raffles with post your username and hit a like it is designed to circumvent those algorithms the larger platform(s) thrive on. And often they succeed and even get to promote the most scummy brands out there.

Hey if you've got the energy by all means go for it! IMHO Youtube is one of the least trashy social media venues out there. I've discovered a lot of truly great stuff over the years and it totally can be a rocket behind your venture if you get it right.

I'll move the thread to Webmeisters this afternoon when I do the house-keeping sweep. If you have any problems seeing it there, or whatever, let me know and I'll get things sorted out for you.

Good luck on the cleaning...

Ive bin watching some folks very closely on the startup of a youtube community followed with a discord. It's a hell of a work. But most action you see is, you guessed it, provided by the casino. It's really all a show to entice folks into gambling. Cant be anything more clear with give aways, free raffles and what more.

Ill cook on something i might start working on. Bashing existing (fake) streamers worked well lol.

Twitter also work, spacial when new game is out you ask provider to promote your casinos, like youtuber The Bandit he even gets paid to play new games by provider's , he calls Single Slots Series and name of the slots

I know, i follow him.

And i noticed when new slots are released, all the fake streamers are told to stream that game, and suddenly you see a whole hype being created among one game. The obvious.

The great Google shake-up 30-odd months ago changed the landscape, rather than content, content like it used to be, it's now all about back links. I've seen data on some aff sites and they have thousands of links they've bought. Google ad keywords work (if you've a big budget to fend off bids from rivals once they see the keywords you bought.)

YT doesn't permit direct marketing links (which used to be a brilliant source of revenue and clicks) and only links to your website. Try direct affiliate links in videos/descriptions and your channel will last 2 days.

YT recently issued an update and there's a form to fill in for gambling channels coming up soon. This is so they can check out the sites you promote on your website are all legit and properly licensed for the jurisdictions you advertise to. This applies to both channels with a single casino sponsor OR 'aggregators' by which they mean sites like mine and CM which provide numerous gambling sites.

I believe this is in response to the Twitch crackdown last year and various license authorities contacting YT regarding the dodgy sites being promoted.

Of course, if you don't want to fill all this out then simply don't link to your affiliate website in the YT videos.

No,I don't think so as indirect advertising is outside the remit of the UKGC.

After reading this, I assume the site you refer players to a casino is not about gambling/casino? I mean the content is about another subject, or is it about gambling?

That's actually quite good if you think of it. Many channels now advertise or promote casino's with the use of a VPN. But it's still sketchy, lets say i would be playing using a VPN from a banned country, upon KYC i would be toast. Shit they dont tell you in their video's tho.

Is this forum part disclosed? I run over 76 websites by now with a additional page with "online gambling" - basicly some images, some text, click the link and get free 50$ upon signup (only after you done a deposit). But what i see alot now is free loaders, the conversion is actually quite bad.

I've attempted to contact quite some dutch casino's after the licensing thing. Problem is; nobody wants to be asociated with over 75 escort based sites. Mind you, escort is fully legal in Holland. And i do run a larger network of sites that promote the service of an agency. The websites are rented out on a monthly basis. I provide SEO, bookings, calls etc and they rent it with their number onto it.

Conversion for for example webcams, works. Simular with phonesex. I've bin experimenting with it for quite some time. But i feel like i need to target larger - international. My SEO "power" has bin excellent. Mind you i work for both normal, mid and high class agency's with some of them even offering world wide service. To give you an impression: i compete with the best with far less required then what they need.

It's just the power of websites i have build over the years. I wont be having to use someone else's linkjuice or linkspace to grow.

Sex content combined with gambling doesnt work, trust me, been there done that :)

Content needs to connect, its not about SEO these days anymore to hit conversions.

Hey Jan. I breath sex. Thats why i'm active in that business for 15 years. We're talking visitors who already either ready to go or looking on how much they can get for the money. You also got people who would like to book, but at the moment do not have the funds. Thats why i see a great conversion in cams or phonesex for that matter. Casino has bin trickly but now in Holland or Belgium things being licenced and slowly "accepted" i see a bit of growth in that as well.

I'm going to work on a little plan, and see what that will bring me.

Dude! Most of your posts are about how nasty the casino industry is and now you're telling us you're into promoting internet sex and porn? WTF? Talk about yielding the moral high ground!

:( That's not cool either! Do you have more info on this? PM me at @maxd if you'd prefer not to post.

My gut feeling says the sites are not in the English language, so i guess you can say non-gamstop casinos is not applicable to site visitors.
