Casinomeister 2011 Awards Announced!!

Dear All

We are extremely proud, pleased and generally enthused by having won more Casinomeister awards this year. I think we have managed to be recognised for nine consecutive years now, but that hasn't stopped us from once again being completely blown away by the awards bestowed on us. We are also genuinely touched by the very kind and qualified comments by the community here. We are still not at all used to it and still feel privileged by all this!

Everyone in the team tries very hard and is totally focused on (at least) meeting our players' expectations when they make contact with us. We are very lucky to have people with ability and passion and who go that one step further when interacting with our players.

We also recognise that we are in esteemed company and competing with some first-class operators. I would like to add my congratulations to the other winners recognised by Casinomeister this year.

I must properly thank those of you who are generous enough to share your experiences with 32Red as players on this forum. Believe me, your feedback counts and makes a difference to us. Thank you.

Finally, and not least, our sincere thanks to Bryan and his team for their tirelessness in shining lights on problems in this industry and recognising effort and those who get some things right. It must be some job but Casinomeister is something you must be hugely proud of.

Best wishes for 2012 and thank you everyone,

Ed.

Dear Mr Ware,

Thank you for having the courtesy of acknowledging and thanking the membership and those who made the awards possible. Kudos to you for ALSO congratulating other outfits who received rewards.

I will stress that you and your team are held in the highest regard by many of the members here. Something that first springs to mind about 32Red is the song by Tina Turner - 'Simply the Best - Better than ALL the Rest...'

Thank you to the 32Red team and keep up the great work.

Nate

I obviously disagree heavily with the award CWC got but even more "surprising" is the Phoenix award that KGC got.
I mean what? Would have tought they would have been the worst.
The way they have handled the Cereus(former AP/UB) issues over the years with the final blow this year shouldnt give them any positive awards. Whats a few tens of thousands, even hundred of thousands compared to tens of millions.

32RED/3 DICE

How it is possible?-for years all other casinos look at our compliments to these both casinos and nothing changes. After all,it's the same MG games and operation system. So what makes this huge different that others cant compare to?...
I have only good words to say to 32RED...BUT...where are all the others?

They are there but instead of looking for ways to get ON the list, they are looking for ways to stay off:

1. Poor Customer Support
2. Not Flushing WD's
3. Poor Bonus Terms and Conditions
4. Pending WD's up to 10 days in some cases
5. Poor Customer Retention Plans
6. Poor Loyalty Recognition
7. Poor Participation from reps on the thread
8. Slow Payments
9. Bad Bonus Offers or No Bonus Offers
10. Predatory Acts (That we only hear of WHEN someone complains here on CM)
11. Bad Management
12. Edited to Add: POOR DISCRETIONARY SKILLS

I'm sure I could think of a few more. The reality is that they are FAR (And I mean VERY FAR) from achieving anything or getting on par with 32Red.

It also looks to me like a lot of them are under funded.... You could ask them and even if they are accredited - Good Luck getting a response from some of them.

Have you not seen the recently published KGC 2011 Disputes Report, Spiderlegz? From 1,178 valid complaints, KGC settled 80% in favour of the complainant! That's pretty impressive IMO.

i see my case made the runner up for worst casino 2011.. thanks CM for showing everyone what kind of crooks these people were. Besides not getting fully paid it took so much of my time ( english not being my native language ) and energy.. sleepness nights emailing back and forth...
Do you guys know which casino's shared the jackpot pool?

They are a prime example of whats wrong in this industry with their relations to Cereus/AP/UB over the years. Last year was downright disgusting when Cereus didnt even have to come with bogus statements etc as KGC did all the work for them. Talk about full service.

I know this forum isnt really poker focused as MG is still being hold in high regard even after their licensees have gone bust with over 10 million owed to players the past years.

Hi Chuchu59

Thanks for the question and sorry not to reply sooner.

I suspect like every other operator we are keeping a close eye on what's happening in the USA as we would relish the chance to service players from there. Obviously the recent news regarding the Wire Act and its confines is positive but it's still a small step and early doors yet. All the experts seem to think it'll be states - rather than federal - laws that may end up being passed to pave the way for legal online gaming in America.

So separate jurisdictions passing legislation for online gambling, all with different timetables, dynamics, objectives and priorities, some not legislating at all....sounds like Europe!

My knowledge of whether countries in your part of the world are warming up to make things legal is even more scant! Perhaps you could tell me...?

Best wishes

Ed.

Just wondering what plans you have ahead and whether you are contemplating accepting USA players and others back in the near future. I, for one, miss the great services you provide. Frankly, USA players fare even worse and are pushed to the arms of second-class operators who use processing issues to delay payments.

Well I guess it's true you can interpret statistics any way you want but I'd suggest that an impartial observer would view the quantity of complaints dealt with competently as a benchmark. I didn't follow the UB thing as it's not my area of interest but looking at the history of the KGC and where they were just a couple of years ago, the stat made me think the award was well justified. But I guess - as with many awards - not everyone will agree and that's an individual's prerogative.

Hi Ed,

So sorry I missed this reply of yours.

China has a whole horde of gamblers and they have plenty of cash to lose:p though they are primarily interested in sports betting like football and horse-racing. People also like table games like Baccarat but only play with live dealers. The authorities supposedly clamp down on them but imo they turn a blind eye as corruption is rampant.

Hong Kong is totally different. The Government wants to protect the Jockey Club and therefore the stated policy is no gambling with any organisations other than the Jockey Club. Practically no one here knows about online casinos and the Jockey Club isnt bothered as they dont affect their profits since it is primarily engaged in horse-racing, football and lotteries in that order.

Actually, sooner or later the mass population in China will catch up on online gaming and there is huge potential given there are plenty of people with deep pockets and willing to have a flutter on online gaming though not necessarily on slots. If MG can come up with sophisticated versions of games like Baccarat or Asian card games and then liaise with the Chinese Government for regulation the benefits are enormous. For a start, try the Macau market as China does not really interfere with gambling in the enclave and if things go well they may extend it to other parts of China.
