There have been a couple of scandals involving the Topgame software in the past and it seems their software is still finding itself in the hands of rogues.
That said there is probably no software provider that does not or has not had a rotten apple or two or twenty in the barrel so I wont go overboard on in my criticism of them.

The latest offenders and Casinos to avoid are Aztecasino and Casinostates.
Both of these claim to be licensed by Gibraltar Regulatory Authority but neither are - in fact the GRA have a warning up on their site about this.
Lying about your license is obviously rogue behaviour.
From Casinostates about us page;

CasinoStates is a wholly owned subsidiary of Proxima Technologies Ltd., a Cyprus based company.
CasinoStates.com operates under a license granted by the Gambling Commissioner, Gibraltar, a self-governing British Overseas territory and a member of the European Union and the OECD under Top Game software operation license.

There is no such person as the Gambling commissioner of Gibraltar. Licences are issued by the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority.
Also when the following level of English comprehension is displayed on the homepage it is time to worry;

Those are just the spelling mistkes() - never mind the context!

I know CM has a warning about Topgame being blunderers but perhaps it is worth tossing a couple of their casinos in the rogue pit for good measure.
People need to know to avoid these places.

I agree (it's hard not to) that somebody from CasinoStates and Aztec need to do a little QA of their sites to avoid those spelling errors and of course I will inform them immediately.

However Rusty, Part 1 section 6 of the Gibraltar Gambling Act 2005 establishes the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority as the Gambling Commissioner.

But thank you Rusty for pointing out those spelling mistakes, I'll talk to the guys at Aztec and CasinoStates

You've got to be kidding me! You don't know whether or not one of your misspelt casinos (Aztec Asino) is licensed in Gibraltar? I would have thought that would be pretty big news since it would be in the league with Bet365, Carmen Media, 32red, Ladbrokes, etc.

I'd be screaming to the hills on that one.

You guys were correct, Aztec are in fact registered in Costa Rica. It looks as though the same content writer was used for these sites and didnt check his facts. The t&c's, however, do say where the casinos are registered.
It was an honest mistake to make, and it is being fixed as we speak. All TopGame casinos strive to be as honest and transparent as possible and have no intention to mislead any of their players.

I wish I had a nickle for every time I've heard this excuse "Our content editors made a mistake..."

Nothing personal here, but I believe this "mistake" was intentional. And it probably was a deciding factor for a number of players to download the casino. There is no acceptable excuse for a mistake like this to go unnoticed. The screenshot I have for CasinoStates.com goes back to April. Are you telling me no one from Top Game has checked the site since then?
