I do not know but I trust Dave on this one and he said no,

Years ago there was machines you could do this sort of things on, Infact there are still slots where you can build up certain bits until need one more needed, than bet bigger, Now I am unsure if the machines calculate the average bet, I know some machines do, But if machines are random and than how do they know?

If you attempt to alter the bet on wish master during the scroll feature it says adjusting your bets loses all progress or something along those lines. In other words you do it you lose it

Now to answer why i asked this
Well i did some 600 700 spins on this game and was lucky enough to get the bonus and with 14 spins left i had reel 1 and 3 with locked expanding wilds means i was winning 1200 1700 coins every spin bet was 0.40, and i did not raise the bet but better ask before retinking it next time hehe
