I don't really follow NLC's output these days and haven't done for a while, I used to check their affiliate site regularly to see what new games they had coming up, but sometime around the Mental/Evil Goblins/Punk Toilet era I just stopped caring. (Did everyone who made Punk Rocker, or Wixx, or East Coast vs West Coast just leave the company or something?)

Anyway, I thought I'd have a little nosey this morning and their latest slot is called 'Nine To Five', and like all of NLC's output has been for quite some time now, it's entirely constructed around the bonus buys with a basegame that'll quickly make you want to go and do something more enjoyable, such as finding the largest object in your house that you can insert sideways into your rectum without dying.

The first two bonus buy options didn't raise much of an eyebrow with me, 75x and 200x respectively, actually rather tame by NLC's standards.

And there's the 'lottery' option as well, for those who like to gamble their gamble whilst gambling. (And we wonder why organisations like BACTA tend to thrash out.)

But this is the one that really caught my attention, you literally pay 1370x stake to get a straight 1 in 6.7 chance to hit the top prize of 9217x, on a single spin of a mega symbol that either lands or doesn't land. It takes about two seconds to play out.

And this is the whole thing, two seconds might be a slightly generous measurement of the time it takes to play out.

Yes, you get just under 7x bet for gambling 1370x stakes, all or nothing. Crazy. All the time the theme implies gambling can rescue you from the drudgery of your daily toils which fund the gambling. As for the disturbed hospital one, I'm only surprised they don't have cartoon characters of Harold Shipman and Lucy Letby on it.

Now I'd suggest it would have to be less than 10cm wide and non-abrasive to prevent serious injury and chamfered for sideways insertion. So an egg cup? A pear? Napkin ring?

As for Yankee candles, what a rip-off you can buy 3 or 4 equally nice ones the same size for the price of one of those. Must be rich in Chopley's house.

Speaking from experience there Dunover or is that a recent re-telling of the same sensations you've experienced on your latest Christmas Bonanza videos?

Ironically NLC have now resorted to re-skinning their own games and redoing the math model and crapping out lower quality slots like the other studios bought out by Evolution sadly.

The secret is to invest all your money into BTG's slots, I particularly recommend Lucky Streak Mark 2 on maximum bet.

Believed in myself when DJ Psycho released......after about 1000x down on 20p I did achieve my dream. Signed up to Gamstop and have stayed away from slots ever since!

Just watched the new video from the Gentleman Gambler playing NoLimit City games on "action spins".

If you haven't seen them, you can just basically choose your stake and speed through the RNG results one after the other without having to watch anythng happening on screen, or reels spinning. It will give you the option of playing the bonus if one lands or you can just reveal what the bonus would have paid and carry on.

Interesting but also lacking in entertainment...
