It was brought to my attention this week that a online casino watchdog entity such as Casinomeister should not be promoting casinos linked to pornography; specifically Playboy Casino. This begs the question: Is Playboy Casino pornographic, or is it a solid brand that has a target audience - guys who like girls. If something as mild as Playboy Casino (we're not talking about Playboy magazine - which is pretty tame considering what's on the Internet) is offensive, what about Hitman slots that touts killing terrorists, or the Crypto Zombie Slots that display dismembered body parts and its hero blasts zombies with a shotgun in the bonus round (fantastic slot by the way). And what about gambling in general? Where does morals fall in line here? Investing in real estate is a form of gambling technically speaking isn't it. What about state run lotteries? Church bingo?
Nevertheless, Playboy is a publicly listed company on the NY Stock Exchange. It's been involved with entertainment since the early 60s with not only their magazine but also with international clubs and casinos in the UK. Playboy has a very long history in the gaming market, and it's great that they've chosen Crypto as their gaming platform; Crypto being a publicly traded company as well.
This casino is run by the same folks at Intercasino who have over ten years experience of operating a very successful online casino. So this is about as solid as they come. And this I feel should be the main concern of a watchdog site. Is this a solid organization that is player focused and a safe place to play? Yes, by all means yes it is.

A priest and a rabbi were sitting next to each other on an airplane.
After a while, the priest turned to the rabbi and asked,
"Is it still a requirement of your faith that you not eat pork? "
The rabbi responded, "Yes, that is still one of our beliefs."
The priest then asked, "Have you ever eaten pork?" To which the
rabbi replied, "Yes, on one occasion I did succumb to temptation
and tasted a ham sandwich."
The priest nodded in understanding and went on with his reading.
A while later, the rabbi spoke up and asked the priest, "Father, is it
still a requirement of your church that you remain celibate?"
The priest replied, "Yes, that is still very much a part of our faith."
The rabbi then asked him, "Father, have you ever fallen to the
temptations of the flesh?"
The priest replied, "Yes, rabbi, on one occasion I was weak and
broke with my faith."
The rabbi nodded understandingly and remained silent, thinking,
for about five minutes.
Finally, the rabbi said, "Beats a ham sandwich, doesn't it?"

DAY OF RECKONING NEARS FOR NETELLER
US online gamblers payday could be June 4
The 75 day period that Neteller said was necessary to organise the payout of US online gamblers ends on June 4, but there has still been no sign that the patience of American players is about to rewarded.
When Neteller pulled out of the American market in January of this year following the arrest of its founders Stephen Lawrence and John Lefevbre, the Isle of Man e-wallet suspended trading in its shares on the London stock exchange and froze the accounts of American players, claiming intervention by the US Department of Justice.
Later it announced that players funds would be returned, but that this could take up to 75 days to organise (see previous InfoPowa reports) Those 75 days are almost up, and US players are speculating on whether they are likely to be paid out on time.
In a press release dated March 21 the e-wallet informed that it was "....pleased to announce that on 20 March 2007, it signed agreements with the US Attorneys Office and Navigant which, among other things, outline terms and a timeline under which NETELLER will work toward the orderly distribution of funds to its US customers.
"Per the agreements, the Group anticipates that within the next 75 days it will announce a plan by which the funds will be distributed to US customers. Navigant will also provide a report to the USAO on the Group’s current financial condition.
“We continue to be committed to returning funds to our US customers and working with the US Attorney’s Office,” said Ron Martin, Group President and CEO. “Progress, while not always visible to the outside observer, has been steady and these agreements mark a milestone in the process.”
Meanwhile, Lefebvre and Lawrence remain untried, and the Neteller shares are still suspended.
InfoPowa asked Neteller for a comment or progress report on the issues, but as at press time no response had been received.
