Dear ${token1},

It's hard to believe that May is nearing its end, and June will be kicking-in here shortly. What's that mean to you? It's almost time for the annual Casinomeister Bierfest - so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, kick back, relax, and scroll on down...

Customarily yours,

Bryan

WORD FROM THE MEISTER

Fortune Lounge

From the 26 April newsletter concerning the Fortune Lounge fiasco:

So far, I have been assured that all non-fraud player complaints will be paid. Well proof is in the pudding. I have 23 player complaints - six of these were fraudulent - and all but four are resolved. Concerning these four, I'm waiting for further clarifications on these.
Well it's been a few weeks since then and little progress has been made. One of these complaints was from a fraudster - one was paid, and the two that are still pending concern Capital Casino. Capital Casino is one property of the Fortune Lounge group that is not covered by eCOGRA, which means players who have problems at Capital Casino are pretty much on their own. If you are an advantage player, I would heed the warnings that have been ringing loud and clear for the past couple of months.

The bottom line is - Fortune Lounge assured me that all non-fraud players would be paid. This did not happen, so it is unfortunate that they have entered Casinomeister's coveted "Rogue Pit". More details here.

FORUM UPDATE

Complaints Section

Effective immediately - only Fully Registered users and above may post complaints in our forum. In other words, newbies signing up will not be able to post their complaints until they reach a threshold of 100 posts or 50 reputation points and at least a 30 day membership. The reason for this is to cut down on the frivolous complaints. Many newbies post without reading the guidelines and rules for posting public grievances, and many of these complaints can be dealt with swiftly by contacting the casino representatives listed here or via PAB. If you are a newbie, and have already posted in the complaints section, and your complaint is still outstanding - never fear, just contact me and I'll grant you access.

Overall, I think this will work out for the better. There is a thread dealing with this here.

NEW CASINOMEISTER CASINO!

As most of you are aware, I do not bring on any casino property into Casinomeister's Accredited Casino section until I actually sit down with their representatives and have a pow wow of sorts; this is one of the ways casinos are validated. The newest member of our Accredited section is Prime Casino: a fairly new Microgaming casino run by the folks at Prime Gaming. They are undergoing an eCOGRA review at the moment, which is very promising. These guys have damn good attitudes about this industry. Please support them by joining them today (sorry - no US).

SUPPORT THE 725TH!

Many of you are probably not aware of this, but my son-in-law is a paratrooper currently stationed in Iraq, and the folks back home (at Ft. Richardson, AK) are raising money by selling magnets. These magnets only cost $6 each, and the money that's being raised is for a welcome home party the troops will receive when they finally come back home. Please check out the info here and buy a magnet. You can even use your Paypal account!

Military retirement

The Pentagon recently found it had too many generals and
offered an early retirement bonus . They promised any general
who retired right away his full annual benefits plus $10,000
for every inch measured in a straight line between any two
points on the general's body, with the general getting to
select any pair of points he wished.

The first man, an Air Force general, accepted. He asked the
pension man to measure from the top of his head to the tip
of his toes. Six feet. He walked out with a check of
$720,000.

The second man, an Army general, asked them to measure from
the tip of his outstretched hands to his toes. Eight feet.
He walked out with a check for $960,000.

When the third general, a grizzled old Marine, was asked
where to measure, he told the pension man the tip of my
penis to my testicles. The pension man suggested that
perhaps the marine might like to reconsider, pointing out
the nice checks the previous two generals had received.

The Marine insisted and the pension expert said that would
be fine, but that he'd better get the medical officer to do
the measuring. The medical officer attended and asked the
general to drop 'em. He did. The medical officer placed the
tape on the tip of the general's penis an began to work
back.

My God! he said. Where are your testicles?

In Vietnam, the general replied.

BIGGEST ONLINE GAMBLING WIN YET?

The Internet's buzzing with reports that the biggest online jackpot yet may have been won

It started when online gamblers noticed that the jackpot for Cryptologic's progressive slot Millionaire's Club had been re-set this week, triggering speculation that the almost 6 million dollar, Euro or pounds sterling bonanza had finally been whacked after many months where players watched the biggest jackpot around escalating steadily.

Then Slotcharts.com showed a big win for Intercasino of $5 898 352.20, and Intercasino support staff confirmed that a really big win had been made. It seems the luckiest player on the Internet is named "obaesso" but this has yet to be confirmed with official news from the casino.

What currency the lucky winner was using, or where he or she is from is not presently known, but it appears certain that the biggest jackpot in the history of online gambling has just been won.

Curious players flocking to Intercasino to check the news out may be providing the casino with a bonanza of its own, staying to gamble on the re-set Millionaire's Club, which is now showing a new jackpot of $1 988 759.30....and counting!

STOP PRESS:

Our initial report has been confirmed by Intercasino, with the announcement that player "Obaesso," a factory worker, won the biggest online gambling jackpot yet on May 15. Without identifying his location, Intercasino revealed that the lucky player had never travelled further than 50 kilometres from his home town but is now gearing up for a trip to London to collect his winning cheque.

Along with his wife, the player gambled on the Millionaire's Club slot for the first time and was so stunned at hitting the $6 million plus jackpot that he immediately called the casino to confirm what he was seeing on his computer screen.
