African Gambling Roundtable 2007
Tropical Durban on the east coast of South Africa will be the place for affiliates to be around the middle of 2007, when the big guns of South African online gambling put together a major, 300 delegate conference of global interest.
During the past year the international online gambling industry has gone through many changes that have required co-operation between operators, affiliate marketers and service providers in the industry. With the enactment of controversial anti-online gambling legislation in the US it has become even more important to educate and inform the public about their choices and the importance of fighting for their democratic right of choice.
The already tough industry is now even tougher. Marketing strategies that are in large part shared between all parties involved in the industry have become increasingly competitive and more complex. Search Engine updates have changed the importance of some of the online marketing strategies even more.
Linking partnerships have become crucial and viral campaigns have sub-divided even further into more specialised forms of viral marketing. Keeping track of this amazing growth has become complicated.
South Africa is home to many in the industry and is to a large degree a seminal location for the business. This fascinating country is therefore a logical venue for the industry to come together and team up for the future. With the South African government following the wise path of legalising online gaming, its involvement with such an event is crucial.
Pulling all of this together and providing a great networking environment is the planned Gambling Roundtable. An event where new friendships will be formed and leaders in the industry will share their expertise and insights.
Krevents.com in cooperation with the South African National Gambling Board, the Department of Trade and Industry, Durban City Council, the Local Government of Kwazulu Natal and the Gambling Industry Association will bring this event to Durban in Mid 2007.
Krevents will cover the accommodation and local travel requirements for 300 affiliates and speakers to ensure that affiliates can have a productive and a fun time.
The event promises to be a unique opportunity for affiliates, held in a uniquely African vibrant environment that will offer quality relevant topics. Over a period of 3 days an exhibition centre and 2 seminar rooms will be made available.
