Casinomeister's Newsletter

Issue #151
weekly

Dear Reader,

Last week I began the newsletter with a lame-ass poem, because I couldn't think of anything else. Well, I received six unsubscribes and I feel that it was because these persons were expecting something more cerebral, or meaningful. Oh well. You can't win them all.

So I won't begin with a poem this time, nor will I write about the weather. I won't complain about the village I live in. I won't begin with a little anecdote. I will just give you a raw, unadulterated newsletter.

Purely yours,

Bryan

WORD FROM THE MEISTER
Sommerfest
What? We're half-way through May? June is right around the corner, and June is always a big month for Casinomeister. It's our birthday month, our fifth this year, and we'll be kicking it off with several important updates to the site. The information at Casinomeister is maze-like at times, so I'm making certain sections of the site searchable. Right now, most of the Rogue Section is searchable: Bad casino practice and "Evil" casinos dating back to February 2000. Casinomeister's Newsletter has been added as well; a weekly overview of the online casino world, dating back to November 1998. (2000-2003 is presently covered, 1998 and 1999 are still being processed). Casinomeister's News Section: thorough online casino investigative reports, overviews and news releases dating back to June 2001. As the days go by, more sections will be added to this so that both players and operators will have more information than you ever wished for. You can begin your search here.

VOTE FOR US!!! at Gamblingonlinemagazine. They're taking their annual readers' poll and you can vote for Casinomeister! Woo-hoo! Last year, Casinomeister was voted "Best Watchdog Site" and I think most of you would agree that it is. So what do you say? Let's do it again here!

SHE'S BEEN PAID!!!
Yes it's true!! Angelciti paid the player who won $28,555 via three Royal Flushes at Welcome to Our Casino, and she only had to wait NINE MONTHS! And the check they sent was handwritten in Spanish! Will she be able to cash it? Well, two days have gone by and so far no luck. What a joke.

And what an unbelievable way to end this saga. Angelciti's conduct throughout this episode has been inexcusable and totally unprofessional. I would have thought that more care would have been taken concerning this...but really now, what would we have expected? I've been in the online casino business for five years now, and this is probably the worst stunt I have ever witnessed from any online casino.

THANKS EVERYONE!!
Last week I forwarded a message from the wife of Chris Erwin. He is a subscriber of Casinomeister's Newsletter, and was in a very serious car accident. She stated, "Chris is in ICU, he is in a coma and the prognosis has not been good. It's all a matter of time, and healing...please continue to keep my husband in your prayers. Miracles can and will happen, I know it!"

Well-wishers were prompted to email a card or note personally to Chris at pokrfool@hotmail.com. Pokrfool was his user name at most message boards and casinos.

She wrote to me today stating:
Dear Friends of Chris Erwin (Pokrfool),
I wanted to thank you personally for sending your cares and prayers to Chris. I have been amazed by the amount of concerned responses. These emails are a wonderful tribute to the uniqueness that is found with online friendships. Each and every letter has personally touched my heart. I will save every word written for the day that Chris is able to read them, and then feel for himself the strength of a worldwide fellowship offering their love...Your words have restored my dreams of better tomorrows. These would not have been realized without your thoughtful notes of concern.

You are all very special.

...I cannot come close to expressing the love I have felt with each letter I have read. It is astonishing to find such compassion from so many, different people, from so different of places...

God bless each of you in a precious and personal way for all your labors of kindness. Please keep praying, you can make miracles happen...May God's love surround each of you and those that you love, keeping you safe and free from harm...

With all our hearts we sincerely thank you!
Always,
The Erwin Family
Thanks everyone!

    2. Casinos you need to join!
MICROGAMING'S VIPERWARE!! You must check out the following casinos which are now using the new state-of-the-art Viperware!!
Crazy Vegas Casino Highly recommendable. I play there all the time. I've met with the operators on numerous occassions. They are well respected amongst their peers. A must join.

Riverbelle Online Casino is one of the oldest casinos on the Internet. They are solid as they come. You aren't a real player unless you have joined them at one time or another. So, what are you waiting for?

Grand Hotel Casino is another "solid as you can get" casino. If you don't join them now, you need to drop down and give me 25. No, make that fifty! Make it happen, soldier!

    3. This week's humor
A man walked by a table in a hotel and noticed three men and a dog playing cards. The dog was exhibiting an extraordinary performance.
"This is a very smart dog," the man commented.
"He's not so smart," said one of the irked players. "Every time he gets a good hand he wags his tail."
    *****
Andy: "Doc, I had the worst dream of my life last night. I dreamed I was with twelve of the most beautiful chorus girls in the world. Blondes, brunettes, redheads, all dancing in a row."
Psychiatrist: "Hold it, Andy. That doesn't sound so terrible."
Andy: Oh yeah? In the dream, I was the third girl from the end."

    ha ha ha

    Dear funtimebingo.com ex-customer!

We are glad to inform you, that funtimebingo was hacked more than 10 days ago. We are the people who hacked 'em for ransom. What did we do? Well, we just downloaded all their bases (of Credit Cards, of clients, banking info and all),encrypted all content of their harddrives (backups and all bases), that we deleted all from their harddrives. They are so stupid - they even hadn't a tape backup for their critical info=)

We asked only 10K for all, but your privacy is nothing for 'em. So we didn't get money from 'em and here is what happen next.

All their bookkeeping bases with all your winnings will be sent to Tax department of you country.

As you know - you had to pay taxes from your winnings (did you?) and in some countries Got2bet like casino or bingo is prohibited. All your info also will be sent to law offices which collecting info about illegal gamblers and will provide it to your bank. It will very be VERY bad for your credit history (bank may cancel some of your credits immediately). Also your private info (banking info, Credit cards info) will be sold on hacker's underground auctions (Darling - did you see this $3.000 payment for notebook on your CC statement???!!!). So all troubles you will have very soon - just result of unwilling www.funtimebingo.comto protect your privacy. You can keep this letter as evidence for future lawsuits again www.funtimebingo.com. By the way - they don't have alot of money in their accounts - they won't be able to pay you, so be the first and get your money back.

We can just recommend you to revise all your financial tools you used for (call to bank about your CC and so on).

So I went to Fun Time Bingo Site and this is what i found:
    Dear Customer,

This site was taken down due to scheduled maintenance to our servers last Friday. Upon further inspection, there were unexpected errors encountered on the servers. We are working 24 hours a day to rectify this problem. Once it is solved, we will notify you ASAP.

We apologise for the inconvience caused and thank you for your patience.

Have you heard anything about this ?

Is this something to be concerned about? Or is it a hollow threat? Check it out here
