Dear Readers,

Well this weekend marks the first weekend of Advent. And you know what that means?
The Christmas rush is here! Every year I have solemnly pledged to do my Christmas
shopping in the Spring, the Summer, or Fall, and not to fall victim AGAIN to the last
minute panicky omigod-omigod-I forgot-something last-minute freakout. I can feel it
hovering over the horizon since I don't have a clue to what to get anyone.

It also means the return of Christmas promotions, Christmas jokes, Christmas depression,
Christmas rip-offs, Christmas debt consolidation, the pressure of finding the "right" gift,
and all those other Christmas goodies. And every year seems to spring up some
rendition of the Twelve Days of Christmas, or Twas the Night Before Whatever.
Of course, this newsletter will share with you the first of many such renditions.

Read on.

Christmasly yours,

Bryan

Are you into Screenwriting? Second-act.com is where you want to be...
I know, this has nothing to do with online casinos, but if you enjoy
Casinomeister, you'll enjoy this site as well since this is another
site that I administrate (?). There is a forum for film/writing discussion that
is virtually virgin territory (this site was recently launched!). And
there is even a "Who Wants to be a Screenwriter?" contest (much
like Casinomeister's, gasp!) where you can win screenwriting
software!!! Check it out:

2.  And now for the humor......

The Night Before Christmas in Brooklyn

'Twas the night before Christmas,
Da whole house was mella,
Not a creature was strirrin',
Cuz I had a gun unda da pilla.

When up on da roof
I heard somethin' pound,
I sprung to da window,
To scream, "YO! Keep it down!"

When what to my
Wanderin' eyes should appear,
But da Don of all elfs,
And eight friggin' reindeer!

Wit' slicked back black hair,
And a silk red suit,
don Christopher wuz here,
And he brought da loot!

Wit' a slap to dare snouts
And a yank on dare manes,
He cursed and he shouted
And he called dem by name

"Yo Tony, Yo Frankie,
Yo Vinny, Yo Vito,
Ay Joey, Ay Paulie,
Ay Pepe, Ay Guido!"

As I drew out my gun
And hid by da bed,
He flew troo da winda
And slapped me 'side da head.

"What da hell you doin'
Pullin' a gun on da Don?
Now all you're gettin' is coal,
You friggin' moron!"

Den pointin' a fat finga
Right unda my nose,
He twisted his pinky ring,
And up da chimney he rose.

He sprang to his sleigh,
Obscenities screamin',
Away dey all flew,
Before he troo dem a beatin'.

Den I heard him yell out,
What I did least expect,
"Merry Friggin' Christmas to all,
And yous better show some respect!"

ha ha ha

Casinomeister's Forum: Online Casinos: Aspinalls.com half a
million jackpot
------------------------------------------------------------
By rsterling33152 (rsterling33152) on Wednesday, November
28, 2001 - 09:30 pm:

I have been playing this $500k jackpot at Aspinalls.com
Caribbean Casino and have had good luck with it.....wanted
to know if these slots were as loose with anyone else. I've
played the Microgaming progressives for some time, and have
never had this much luck. Are there any other jackpots
online right now that are higher than half a million
dollars?

Also I am quite impressed with their high BJ table limit of
$2000....does anyone know of any online casino with higher
table limits?

Anymore experiences? Post 'em here: http://www.casinomeister.com/cgibin/discus/show.cgi?4/2588

5. THE SOUNDS OF SILENCE Why don't these folks want to communicate?

Taking refuge in silence is one of the primary email strategies of online casinos
when it comes to matters they do not want to discuss. It is one of our major irritants
because it indicates not only bad manners, but dishonesty too.

So forgive us if we have one of our occasional rants on the subject because we have
three out of four glaring examples this week in order to obtain a very simple piece of
information which we believe our listeners are entitled to have - "who provided the
gambling software?"

What is the big secret here? More than half the emails we send asking casinos to
identify their software meet with stony silence, and we cannot understand the reason
for this reticence on such an important feature.

This week we contacted Adorable (huh!) Casino, an outfit called Pyramiddownload
to find out about Britney Spears Casino, Winit Casino, Casino of the Sun and
Cheetah and 7 Gold Aces Casinos. After four days and two repeat emails we're still
waiting and we have to conclude that they must have something to hide. We've managed
to find out that Adorable is using Grand Virtual software but if any of you out there can
supply the information on the others we would love to publicize it!

Then we had VIPJackpot Casino who "didn't have that information". We did a little
more digging and told them it was poker.com software. More stoney silence. Balancing
the bad with the good, we enjoyed fast and courteous responses from Farwest, Mystic
Dunes
and Top Las Vegas casinos - good on you, guys!
