Dear Readers,

Hey, it wasn't until yesterday afternoon that I realized that it was Thanksgiving. A bit too late
to go hunting for a frozen turkey to thaw. Oh well, we went out for Italian Pizza which was quite
satisfactory. The pizza in Germany is much different than the normal pizza found in the states.
The crust is much thinner and it's not drenched in tomato sauce. Except for the guy who was
smoking at our table, it was a nice meal.

I should have taken the day off yesterday anyway since our server was down for maintenance.
If you visited Casinomeister yesterday and there was nothin' there, that's why. My email was
bouncing too, so if you sent something that came back to you, well try it again.

Other than that, I hope the holiday weekend is treating you well (if you are having one). If not, have a
nice weekend anyway!

Relaxingly yours,

Bryan

Are you into Screenwriting? Second-act.com is where you want to be...
I know, this has nothing to do with online casinos, but if you enjoy
Casinomeister, you'll enjoy this site as well since this is another
site that I administrate (?). There is a forum for film/writing discussion that
is virtually virgin territory (this site was recently launched!). And
there is even a "Who Wants to be a Screenwriter?" contest (much
like Casinomeister's, gasp!) where you can win screenwriting
software!!! Check it out:

So..."Who wants to be a Casinomeister?" Who wants to win $200 bucks??
Colosseum Casino is sponsoring this month's contest with a $200 grand prize!
The game is just like the Millionaire show but no million $$ (sorry) but it's a lot
of fun. Test your gaming knowledge and use your jokers wisely (there are a
few drinking questions, so be careful!) You can play once a day once the
stats are reset. (I reset the stats daily early in the morning Central European
time) . Every time you play, there are different questions, and of course
different answers. So hurry! This month's contest is going strong:

2. And now for the humor......

Taliban Vs U.S. Marine

A Taliban Army platoon was on patrol when the commander
noticed a lone U.S. Marine standing on a hilltop in their area.

The commander told two of his soldiers to go take out the Marine,
so they dropped their packs and promptly ran as fast as they
could toward him.

Just before they got to the top, the Marine ran over the other side of the hill.

The two soldiers followed. For the next few minutes there were bloody
screams and dust flying in the air. Then as quick as it had started, it
stopped and the Marine came up on the hilltop.

He brushed off his cammies, straightened his cover, crossed his arms and
stood there looking at the Taliban soldiers.

The infuriated commander called for a squad to go get the Marine. They promptly
ran as fast as they could toward him. Just before they got to the top, the Marine
ran over the other side of the hill.

The squad followed, and for the next few minutes there were bloody screams and
dust flying in the air. Then as quick as it had started, it stopped and the Marine
came up on the hilltop.

The Marine brushed off his cammies, straightened his cover, crossed his arms
and stood there looking at the Taliban soldiers once again.

The commander was really hot now. He ordered the rest of his platoon to attack
the Marine. Determined that Taliban soldiers were far superior to one lone Marine,
they had blood in their eyes as they ran up the hill.

Just before they got to the top, the Marine ran over the other side of the hill. The
bloodthirsty soldiers followed. For many minutes there were horrific screams and
dust flying in the air. It continued and continued.

Finally, one lone Taliban soldier came crawling back to the commander,
all bloody and beat about the head and shoulders. His uniform was torn,
cuts were all over his body. The commander asked for a report. The lone
soldier, trying to catch his breath, replied in a forceful and trembling voice:

"Sir,...run,...it's a trick. There are TWO of them!!"

ha ha ha, thanks mom!

3. Forum Highlights

------------------------------------------------------------
Casinomeister's Forum: Questions: Casino Fantasy family of
casinos
------------------------------------------------------------
By dave_r (dave_r) on Wednesday, November 21, 2001 - 01:24
am:

Casino Fantasy has an excellent reputation for paying its
players.

The software manufacturer is Grand Virtual. I have never
been a huge fan of this software. A while back, I was
convinced that their roulette game was fixed. I played
roulette all the time at Cyberthrill, and had some losing
streaks that were mind boggling. Cyberthrill went out of
business.

But I decided to give Grand Virtual a second chance.
I tried to get an account with Casino Fantasy/CasinoTreasure
and realized that gameplay was void in USA/Canada, and
therefore I couldn't get any bonus.

Then 3 new Grand Virtual Casinos popped up which were
extremely reputable. VegasUSA, CasinoPearl, and
Eurpoeangaming. I took advantage of the $30 bonus at all 3
of these casinos by depositing only $1 at each. To get $90
for $3 is almost unheard of, and I got very upset when I
found out my credit card had authorizations for $20 at each
casino (total $60). However, when I contacted the casino,
they explained to me that the $20 was just a 5 day hold on
my credit card, similar to renting a car. After 5 days, the
$20 would drop off, and I would receive a bill of just $1.
It seemed too good to be true, but THE OFFER WAS LEGIT.
All 3 of these casinos are sister casinos, and I managed to
win a total of approx $500 from my $3 investment. How??
Playing the zero house edge dice game, called Chuck-A-Luck,
and by playing baccarat, neither of which seemed to be
rigged.

Yup, I did say ZERO HOUSE EDGE. As per the Gamemaster, who
reviewed Carry-On Casino, which is no longer online, but
identical to Casino Fantasy and Vegas USA:
(Reprinted from www.gamemasteronline.com)

Gamemaster says:
Chuck-a-Luck: I normally wouldn't recommend this game if you
put a gun to my head, but I have found a version worth
playing. Much like the Roulette above, there's just one bet in
the game where there's no house
edge, and it's a coin-flipper as well. The casino in
question is Carry On Casino (http://www.carryoncasino.com). You've probably
seen Chuck-a-Luck at some church 'Vegas' nite or some other
such event. Three dice are in a cage which is rotated to produce a
'toss' and the player may bet on the numbers 1 to 6. If the number bet
comes up, it's paid at 1:1. If a pair of those numbers come up, the bet
pays 2:1 and trips produces a payoff of 3:1. The house edge here? Oh,
just under 8%. But, at Carry On Casino, there are two even-money bets
where there is no house edge. One is called "Over 10 " and the other is
"Under 11".

There are 16 possible combinations that 3 dice can make;
here I'll list them as they appear one on side with the corresponding
total on the other side of the dice:
3 and 18
4 and 17
5 and 16
6 and 15
7 and 14
8 and 13
9 and 12
10 and 11

As you can see, half are over 10 and half are under 11,
making this is a straight 50-50 proposition.
So, if this is an honest game, virtually everything I
said about the Roulette above applies. By the way,
avoid the Field bet. While it looks like a 50-50 play
(8 numbers win and 8 numbers lose), it's deceptive,
because those numbers can be made in more than
one way.

The house edge on the Field bet is 3.7%.
[End quote]
Well apparently, the game is honest, as I have won close to
$4200 lately. VegasUSA offered me a 10 or 15% Paypal or
Neteller Bonus on my deposit. I played the Chuck-A-Luck for
at least 40 hours in total.

I was doing very well to say the least, so I upped my bet to
the table max ($250) in the middle of an 11 row win streak.
I finally have my bankdraft from Banco Uno in San Jose, Costa
Rica, for my $4200.(From Naprinel Inc) This time it took
them 2 weeks longer than it usually does, but I was paid.

5. BUTCH THE COPYCAT
Butch Gambler and the Zoo Kid caught redhanded

Here's the story of an internet businessman from Brooklyn who dabbles in
everything from internet gambling and trucks to wrestling - but takes moral
shortcuts in the presentation of his "expert" opinions. You see, Butch aka
Zoo but in reality one Clifford Nordquist of The Gambler's Hall of Fame
lifts work which appeals to him in toto from other people's sites, slaps his
name on it as the author and presents it without even the courtesy of
accreditation.

Then he spams gambling message boards to attract traffic to his "expert" sites.
But this week he slipped up in ripping off the Casinomeister site, and the game
was up thanks to an alert reader who recognised some of the content.
Retribution was swift and appropriate because Clifford hadn't realised that in
plundering the Meister's material he was using the CM style sheets that are
on the CM server. That means the Meister can change background images
on the thief's site, and that is exactly what was done - Nordquist's sites
suddenly sprouted hilarious "This material is stolen" overlays!

editor's note: He did take down the offending pages. But before he did, I made
a screenshot of one. There is a link to it at the bottom of my radio show page:
http://www.casinomeister.com/radio_show.html
AOL

After initially taking a belligerent stand, Nordquist beat a retreat, saying that
the theft was done by a now fired employee without his knowledge, and that
he is not well versed in the niceties copyright - yeah, right! But it could still
be a costly business, as irritated readers identified other infringements on
his sites and alerted the rightful owners...

So much for The Gambler's Hall of Fame as a professional source of information
