Getting some better mileage out of my second deposit (£100D + £50B = £150 bankroll (30xB WR), although I was already £100 down from before so £200 in overall).

Best win is still a meagre 68x stake, but I've had a few free spins rounds and a few hits around the 30x stake mark.

Not even come close to ever being in profit though, and I can easily see this one going down the toilet in fairly short order.

Not sure why I expected anything else TBH, as I hated LOTR once they knobbed it up by making it a progressive

Calling it for tonight with just short of £100 left in my balance, will pick it up again tomorrow evening once the family is safely tucked up in bed.

I've put around 1450 spins through it and it's not set my world on fire.

Highest win is 252x stake which is pretty good, but that's the biggest win I've seen by a country mile. (One of the better paying symbols on reels 1 and 5, with a reasonable selection of wilds on 2-3-4.)

Have triggered the progressive once which I wasn't expecting, but of course it paid the MINI jackpot

The free spins round is generally pretty poor, does the same cheap trick that LOTR used to, giving loads of extra free spins that don't pay anything. ('Best' I managed was over 30 free spins in a round that still only paid 12x stake!)

Gollum appears to have been replaced by both Joker and Batman, who turn up on a regular basis to award a derisory amount ranging from 0.5x stake (!!) to a whopping great 5x stake. It all looks and sounds very pretty, but it just ends up being annoying and irritating IMO.

The base reel game appears to have the worst of both worlds, somewhat high variance with a lowish RTP, I'd love to know the base game/progressive split is.

I'll give it another go tonight, but overall I think I'll be chucking this slot into the dustbin, same as I did with LOTR once they ruined it with the progressive.

The Microgaming servers really do seem to be struggling with this slot, getting loads and loads of the LOOOOONNNGGGGGGGG laggy spins whilst the 32Red client waits for a response from the server.

It was bad last night and it seems to be even worse now.

Makes playing the game quite frustrating.

I havn't read this thread until today because I wanted to make up my own opinion about the game first.
I love it
I didn't like Lotr at all and Gollum was just irritating. In this game it goes faster when he (whoever he is) shows up with the extras.

I get free spins all the time. I havn't got a huge hit in it yet, but so far I believe it pays much better and more extra spins too.
The graphic and the music is way better and I believe I will play this game a lot more then I played Lotr.
For me MG have improved the game with the changes they made.
Do I need to tell you that I'm way up on this game so far

as a big Batman fan, I was looking forward to this, and it looks the part. The Batman/Joker appearances remind me of

Been playing this on and off for 3 days now.
Still havent hit over 100x bet yet.
Just had free spins on it and ended up with 20 spins and got just under 7x bet and thats with joker appearing twice and giving random rewards.
Dont know if its the same on every casino, but the multiplier on free spins sticks on 2x at the casino im playing at.
I know it is adding to it even though its not showing because i got 8p for 3 jacks lol.
Everytime im getting batman coming down to turn whole reels wild, he just seems to be doing one, when he did 2 i already had one of the reels full of the stacked wilds anyway and i got a whole 21X bet for it.
When gollum pulled reels down to make wild, you could get some very good hits, had 643X on lotr
Had the progressive once for a 10.44 mini.
IMO batman doesnt seem to suck your money as fast because im getting more frequent wins, but are smaller then lotr used to do.

I did the best part of 2000 spins in the end.

Single biggest win was 252x bet, other than that I did have a couple of wins around 100x bet.

The free spins round is often very poor, around 10-20x bet. Best I managed was 110x bet.

Hit the progressive wheel twice which was pretty lucky, especially as on the second occasion I got the MINOR progressive which was a nice boost to my bankroll (£100).

In the end though I did, quite frankly, get bored with it, and moved onto other slots.

I may have the odd 100-200 spins on this slot in the future, but as a clone of the fairly poor LOTR progressive slot, it's certainly not made my list of MG favourites.

Finally, maybe I just got unlucky, but I didn't get the multiplier increased in free spins once, whereas this happened reasonably regularly on LOTR. I see someone else has observed this behaviour as well.

Where im playing the multiplier sticks on 2X.
But it is going up, its just not showing it.
I just got 90p for 2 scatters in free spins, so the multiplier must have been at 3X but it was still showing at 2X.
Obviously there is a bug there.

I have had about 20 free spins bonuses across 3 casinos,2 downloads and 1 flash casino. I have yet to see a multiplier increase in well over 300 FS,plenty of increases to spins right enough.

Ive never noticed an increase in the payout in my free spins.Maybe it has but the payout is always so low,I will look out for it the next time.

Sigh, after several sessions and a total of just over 3000 spins, I have come to the conclusion that this is just another MG money eating bitch ( cough IR/TS11 cough ). Biggest win was a whopping 141x stake, with 2nd biggest win less than 100x. Didn't hit the progressive once, and tbh, never did on LOTR either even though I did at least 10k spins on that too. I'm just not a lucky guy a lot of the time!

Free Spins feature just sucks balls. Not even 1 hit that's worth mentioning. I did not ever see my multiplier increased either. And only one or 2 times did Joker give me a couple of extra free spins, not that they helped.

Really, I don't know if I'm just uber-unlucky, but this slot has absolutely bled me dry, with giving basically no decent hits on return. I am sad to say that this slot has been removed from my playing list. Love the graphics, love the idea, hate how it plays/pays.

Well, I couldn't wait neither, until I started reading some of the experiences of other players at CM. It will be another kick in the teeth for MG if their latest big release is just an average slot with a nice coat of paint.
