Damn, they had a good haul today:
They may not get to KEEP it though, since Nedplay are now on to them.
I noticed also that 32Red have added an extra term to their Loaded special this weekend, specifically aimed at cheaters who would create multiple accounts to get multiple entries. It is limited to 1000 players, and every place gets a prize (20 for most of the lower ones). Since it is only 10 to enter, this might have been a guaranteed 10 profit per account.
Well, the $20 prize (you play in your own currency) comes with a 30X WR, so not a sure thing. Still, I will be there.

Eh! This is a PAID tournament, NOT a "free" one. I would expect prizes to be CASH.
I am now in direct contact with Robin and more information as well as a resolution will be forthcoming soon.
As for these posts:
It should be noted that everyone that is playing dishonestly are all being found in freeroll tournaments that are satellites or have cash prize pools.
They may be rebuying (using their ill-gotten gains) when they're in the top 10 and the extra prize money is more than the rebuy cost, but they don't seem to be willing to spend anything on the buy in tournaments.
Honest to goodness... how do people find the time for such convoluted shenanigans for such meager winnings?? Do they not have lives? I barely have time to pop in here and check on the latest news a couple of times a day....
Thanks for keeping us posted.

You would think for these small sums that would be quite true. However the principle of fair gaming for all, is what is the real stake here, not the amount.
Having said that these small wins replicated across many casinos on a daily basis can soon mount up to a considerable sum.
As casinos and poker rooms tighten up their security, then the scammers and fraudsters will always look to exploit any loopholes they can find. When they are onto a scam they will not hesitate to maximise revenue, whilst the rest of us are scratching away for an honest win. They have plenty of time on their hands, why? because scamming is their occupation.

I see I forgot to mention that the top prize in the Treasure Quest tournament from Jackpot Factory is 1000.-
As he came in 1st and 3rd he took home 1250.-
Thats not too bad for a day is it?
Thanks Dan889,
Are you a deputee of MGS or 32Red?
Can you tell anything more about the people behind these accounts, or was it just one person?
Have you pointed Pat to this thread. It contains our own theories and deductions. This should help the investigation, as they will know what to look for as "linking factors". They will have access to their own security systems, which will be able to tell whether this looks like a group of "linked accounts", or merely a far fetched, but genuine, coincidence.
Currently, it rather looks like the multiple accounters are targeting these tournaments, since the net has tightened on free chips and welcome bonuses.
Remember also, that accounts are generally audited upon the first WITHDRAWAL, and if none of these have submitted their first, there will be nothing to trigger an audit.
If they are this clever, they could be using sit n go tournaments to transfer their ill gotten gains to "clean" accounts that HAVE passed audits.
If they have 5 aliases, they all join the same sit n go, and can control which accounts dump to others. It might be worth looking to see if there are sit n go events where all 5 seats have been taken solely by these suspect aliases. This method will move 90% of the money, the other 10% is lost. 3 "clean" accounts are needed to come in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The aliases that need to avoid scrutiny will come 4th and 5th, dumping to the top 3, which can eventually withdraw the proceeds.
Unlike poker, MGS may simply not be looking out for this, and it may be going undetected. It certainly seems that multiple accounting in the main tournaments is going on undetected.

Apparently this issue IS being resolved.
Nedplay and 32Red have, obviously, done something and I understand that Microgaming themselves are now doing a thorough investigation into all suspicious activities raised in this thread, even the individuals that are entering multiple accounts into the same network-wide tournaments.
As you can see below, the suspicious names do not appear anywhere, so the games are now fair and everyone has an equal chance once again.

bernynhel said:About a month ago Microgaming quit recognizing tournament players across different sites which means that a player must now choose a new alias if registering for a tournament at a casino where they had not played in a tournament before. At casinos where the player had registered and played prior to this change, one alias worked at all sites and the player was prompted to enter their original alias. The new dealio forces multi-aliases and offers players multiple entries in tournaments that are shared by multiple Microgaming casinos. It's almost as if MG wants players to abuse the tournaments.
