I am not sure whether they were legally wrong to do so, but I certainly, don't think it's right to offer a bonus and then say, you can't play a certain way. This is the message I got from them:
Our system flagged your withdrawal as invalid on processing it. On investigating we found that your bets in session 114340568782 were in breach of our terms and conditions, whereby players can only bet 20% of the bonus amount in a single game. The bonus amount in your case was£200, and 20% of that is £40. You bet £200 on your first spin which was 100% of your bonus you then continued to bet £50 a round to complete your wagering. As such, we are writing to inform you that your bonus + winnings have been voided with your deposit of £200 added back to your account. You can find the relevant terms and conditions HERE (
I never used the 200£ bonus money and I thought it would be fair if they at least gave me half of my winnings back, do you think I am wrong to think so?
