Another great gone

“If they can make penicillin out of moldy bread, they can sure make something out of you.”

Another legend goes, and he maintained his dignity for 32 years as well with Parkinson's. A true gent and there will never be another like him :(

Ali was very much a part of my childhood. Dad was a big boxing fan, I remember him fighting Patterson, and my little brother and I had to hold the rabbit ears so the TV got better reception.

He was young and good looking and I was a fan. Can remember Dad calling me a "traitor" when I was cheering for him against Chuvalo.

Of course we watched all the comeback fights, but by then we had a rotor and we didn't need to hold the rabbit ears anymore.

RIP. Parkinsons runs in my family, and I'd admired his fight against that probably most of all.

He was a great man and lived a great life. He made his way to the International Boxing Hall of Fame and now it's his time to make his way to heavens.

RIP
