.
It is not my intention to be a bitch in this thread, but I have one more issue that probably need some attentions from the Mr. Green rep.
This is about the "Mega Fortune" progressive slot. For those who do not know it: Mega Fortune is a very popular slot with 3 progressive jackpots. The biggest jackpot is at the moment worth about € 4 million.
This slot is quite popular amongst low rollers, because you do not need to max your bet or even bet high to have a chance to win the big jackpot. Actually, several of the earlier winners have only been betting about €1. Quite a catch. So this slot has many players who will play with minimum bet.
And this is the case. I thought that Mega Fortune had a standard betting increments (standard from Net Entertainment). The lowest betting amount for all 25 lines is € 0,25 and the highest is € 50 (or something similar, depending on currency). I have never seen a Net Entertainment casino who don't have the standard bet increment on this slot. And that is quite understandable. The minimum bet is of great importance in this game since many low rollers who are going after the Jackpot most likely will play with minimum bet. And as I said, the standard minimum bet is €0,25.
Well, so I thought before I visited Mr. Green. But at Mr. Green, the minimum bet on an Norwegian account was 0,25 Norwegian Kroner for all lines! 0,25 Kroner is about € 0,03 ! This is very odd. The standard minimum bet (in all other Net Entertainment casinos to my knowledge) in Norwegian Kroner is 2,50. 2,50 Norwegian Kroner is about € 0,30.
I asked a fellow member here if he could check his Mr. Green account and tell me the minimum bet on his account (he has an account in Euros). He told me that the minimum bet was € 0,25. This means that Norwegian Players will have € 0,03 as minimum bet, while players with other currencies will have the correct € 0,25 as a minimum bet.
Some of you may not see the big case here, but let me clarify. If you deposit € 100 and bet with € 0,25 per spin, then you most likely will have some few hours of game play. If you deposit the same amount and bet with € 0,03, then you can play for days. And remember that you will have the chance to win the Jackpot regardless of betting level.
The minimum bet of € 0,03 (0,25 Norwegian Kroner) is clearly an error/bug/fault or whatever. Of course, there may be a legitimate explanation to this but I just can not understand what that would be. And this will be supported by the fact that this "fault" only is available in Norwegian Kroner at Mr. Green and not for those who have Euros as chosen currency in the same casino.
And now to the more serious stuff. If this is an error. What would be the consequences if a Norwegian player had won the € 4 million Jackpot on a € 0,03 bet if that bet actually is not valid? I see that you had errors on some of your other games last year. It is quite seldom that casinos have error on games, so it is only fair to ask you about this. And if it turns out that this actually is an error, then it is quite blameworthy considering that this is an highly popular progressive game with a massive Jackpot. Error on this game should not happen.
