Honestly WW, did you read all of this thread...trust me, you were not the only one "singled out" on this topic. Gamtrak has been through it, Topboss was asked to remove the rogues on her site (and did), and I think Casinobonusguy also answered in this thread...but preferred to not remove the rogues. This thread was not directed at you solely...and neither was the other one. Your original thread got derailed..sorry. And this thread was started for the sole purpose of addressing the issue of links in signatures at this forum...when those same links lead back to casinos on the rogue list.

It's not about you...it's about any webmaster/affiliate who chooses to promote rogues, and link to their sites on this forum. Period.

Pina - if you think it wasn't about me - either you're playing games and crying foul or you inadvertently brought this up during the same time the other thread got derailed and it was a VERY BIG Coinkydink.

I think you honestly believe it is your GOD GIVEN right to pounce on ANYONE and EVERYONE who might be promoting a casino that is here on a list... Which we don't know the meaning behind the literal terms yet.

Jetset - I personally believe this USEFUL debate was derailed by someone who is on a crusade and doesn't care who she hurts to get the reaction she wants, regardless of the right or wrong of the matter.

It was derailed DELIBERATELY - and specifically after the Wannabet post and the 3dice post... and brought to forefront during the Affiliate post...

I'm sorry - if people do NOT like the facts, then I don't know what to say.

I AM AN AFFILIATE.

And I'd like to think I am an HONORABLE one - AND - a semi decent one.

I'd like to think that I am doing the RIGHT things for both the players and the casinos.

I'd like to think that those that I promote are decent - cause you all damn well know I'm not making very much money from FREEBIES.

So - just because one person jumps on a crusade - the ENTIRE forum stood at a standstill and WATCHED it happen - with NO ONE - not one person saying anything - unless they were prompted from someone else.

But lets just say - I watched a VERY organized - VERY blatant attack... and no one stood up for me.

The one person who even spoke out of line to Pina got "screamed" at like a harridan.

If I can just chip in here - not aimed at any specific poster - but I think a lot of what is said here and in other threads, well its not *what* someone says, but the way in which they say it.

In the majority of cases, people are banned from forums, become disliked, attract conflict or lose the respect of others without realising that this is the reason. You often see posts from banned posters on other forums saying they were banned because they said something out of turn, when in fact it was how they said it and more often than not, their lack of respect for other people's opinions.

If everyone took on the philosophy of reading their own posts back putting themselves in a) the recipients position and b) a casual observer's position, they would probably recognise the antagonism a lot easier and the quality of posts, debates and even arguments would become a whole lot better and would also probably achieve more.

It's human nature to think that you're right and the other guy's wrong. It's how you negotiate that obstacle that determines the end result.

It's like the phrase "the customer is always right". We all know that's bollocks but it's misinterpreted. What it means is "the customer needs to think they are always right". The same principle applies in most conversations where there are conflicting opinions and if your aim is to get something from the other person, or to get them to alter their opinion, you often need to present a case in a way which they feel means that they don't lose face.

The best place to start: read your posts back before you post them and see how you would react if it was aimed at you.

For the record, I support what you are saying about Tradition casino; They screwed up, they admitted it, they apologised and they appear to be trying their best to put everything right. They are not rogued - only not recommended, which are two different things.

I think when it sinks it what they've done to affiliates though you will drop them like a hot potato; They screwed up, they admitted it, they refused to apologize and their attitude is just "tough - live with it".

You seem to forget that I DO have friends in different forums in different places... That MIGHT mention "SNIDE" comments that were made in reflection about me.

Ask those involved directly what they might have said to someone else OFF CM...

Have you ever wondered why more folks do not thank your posts? They are full of too darn many words, and too many of them are out of line or do not make sense. In more than one way, in some of them.
