    When new members join.

When new members join Casinomeister, as well as agreeing to the terms and conditions for the site & forum, how about another box where they have to confirm that they have read and noted all the casinos listed in the Rogue pit.
There should be no choice, they should be taken to the rogue pit page during the process, and have to scroll down to agree to having read and noted it's contents.

........people should be able to see this for themselves, those that join here are adults and should be treated as such,c/m has a section for anyone that wishes to look thru it but to not give some one a choice gives off a cult like vibe, you are very lucky that you can play anywhere you want where some of us cant and that is what imo brings alot of people here to casinomeister after getting a royal screwing by a rogue casino, so why dig it in to them alittle more, when they can read for themselves, im sorry vwm but this is prolly the only time i strongly disagree , even though your hearts is in the right place and your one of the best on here imo..................laurie

I think VW's suggestion is a good one. These "adults" are free to ignore CM's advice, and just because you have been suckered by one rogue, does not mean that you are aware of all of them. BTW, I signed up at a few rogues, and this was after some online searches. They were all freebies though, and the worse thing that happened to me was spam.

It seems that many new members come straight to the forum, and have to be reminded that the casino they have tried is in the rogue pit. It should draw their attention to others that are in the pit that they may be receiving invites from, or even seeing advertising or getting offers in the mail. It is not true that just because a casino can offer things in the post, or advertise on local media, that they will be OK to play at.

I think VW's suggestion is a good one, maybe it should also be required reading that they read the part about PAB's, why? Might save some foot in mouth disease later on. If there is a rep on board here at CM, the first line of contact is to contact the rep, per CM.

I don't know about you guys but I lurked for a long time before I ever posted....I was a little shy.

I am afraid I have to disagree on this one. We should draw their attention to it but not requiring them to tick such a box. To some newbies, this could deter them from signing up as they dont know what it might hold for them. I understand we do feel irritated when time and again some new members who have graced this forum for months and even years dont know the slightest thing about the 'rogues'. However, if ticking such a box is required they might think twice before joining. Just my 2c.

Not required, but suggesting couldn't hurt. Finding websites through a google search doesn't necessarily take you to the home page where you find clear links to the whole site. For those that aren't filmiliar or don't take time to search websites they visit this would probably help.

Alternatively, the link to Rogue Pit list can be referred to in an automated Welcome Message every new member receives... no?

It has been quite some time since I joined the forum. I do not recall if a review and acceptance of the forum rules were part of the sign up process. If not already required, I think they should be reviewed and accepted during signup. Since everyone is given a free pass for their first PAB that should be the time they are required to review the rogue pit and acknowledge they have done so. Just my opinion...

..i can live with that, i guess what bothered me most about the vwm post was "there should be no choice". and i agree with what chuchu said in his post about the tick box.i just had a problem with the wording, everyone has a choice were they want to play and its posted right in the main section for all to see, i thought this was a forum, where we try to help players by our past experiances, not make it out to be like a college entrance exam, required reading, no wonder so many people are lurking around.........................laurie
