Just a reminder -- I am employed by no one, but I do get a little income you YouTube if you watch an ad! Otherise, I try hard to to show any favouratism.

I always appreciate your comments on YouTube or here on Casinomeister!

Great question:

There were several general trends at the show!

Licensing is way down. Aside from forever licensed franchises like Wheel of Fortune (IGT), and Monopoly (Light and Wonder), IGT is placing their bets onm Whitney Houston and Light and Wonder went with a NETFLIX agreement -- started with SQUID GAMES (aimed mostly at the younger demograpohic).

The BIGGEST new will be Aristocrat -- which put out the first MAJOR LEaGUE slot in North America casinos. They put out a variant of Lightning Link featuring an agreement with NFL (American Football). On paper this is a huge title which was already available at casinos like Circa, Excalibre, Luxor, Treasure Island in Las Vegas and Seneca Niagara in Niagara Falls New York. It is a muli year deal.

Successful companies use slots with 'DRAGON' in the name (after the success of Aristocrats 'Dragon Link'). 3 BAGS are all the rage as long a 88-cents very popular along with ongoing Asian themes. Cartoon style "cute" games are holding there own. 'LINK' is almost a must these days.

IT Technologies and Aristocrat has been the big losers. IT showed no signes of improving, while Ainworth updated all titles to make their games more it more palatable to players -- similar themes and graphics to fit in better.

Light and Wonder down player many releases -- but a new HUFF AND PUFF slot, BEIR HOUSE slot and RICH LITTLE HENS will all become all over casinos next year! Dragom did well, so, Double Dragon will likely continue this on the large cabinet.

Konami didn't play up anything but some GAME SHOW slots caught my attention. They are cotimuing as a long term player.

IGS is a market leder in the back end, but many of their slots took a back seat as they continue to geatures more valatile versions of hits from previous years.

Aruze is hanging in -- and casinos still buy their machines.

AGS is the big winner. They have their finger on the pulse, and making very enjoyable games for the changing tastes of the casinos public. They have many more cartoonish graphics -- and their increased play will transfer to better sales for the company.

Aristocrat remain the leader.

You thought ?

Oh ... and Everi is doing okay on the casino floor -- put releaseing TEST titles seems to be popular, after the success of CHA-CHING. So less licensing -- but they are try to thrive the unconventional.

Novomatic has real problems taking hold with titles. The machies seem several years behind. Their ownership of Ainsworth seems to be non-eventful -- as Ainsworth keeps their voting rights.
