I've been playing a bit of Evolutions new Lightning Roulette.
It's been developed along the lines of Dream Catcher, where up to 5 numbers on the roulette wheel are randomly selected each spin and assigned a bet multiplier from 50x up to 500x.
The selection process takes place after you've made your bet.
If the ball drops on one of those numbers and you've selected it you win the Multiplier amount.
It only works for straight up bets.
The game is funded by reducing the normal payout for straight up numbers from 35-1 to 29-1.
I've played a few games and watched many more and have seen the multipliers come in around once every 10 - 15 spins. I've seen 4 come in over 10 spins and of those 2 paid 250x and one 500x and one 50x.
So I decided to experiment last night, by covering the whole board with 0.20 bets. That's a total bet of £7.20 a spin with a minimum guaranteed return of £6 each spin.
Obviously I was after the 500x hit.
I didn't get it but did get a few 50x and a few 100x before my balance of £65 was completely consumed.
I got about 90 minutes playing time and I used the auto spins facility, much like in slots.
It felt a bit like playing a slot (i'm no regular player on slots) and waiting for the bonus round.
The games new, but I'd love to hear your thoughts about the game and whether it's got that hook players look for?
Personally I think it's going to go down really well with a certain type of player.
