Codeta Misery
My comment was about the behaviour of the Codeta casino in retaining my winnings not the site.
My comment was about the behaviour of the Codeta casino in retaining my winnings not the site.
It was upheld in the Codeta casinos favour, they were entitled to misappropriate my 2888 pounds winnings, Are you surprised?
Hello Roderick1702.
My name is Niklas and i work for Codeta. I just had a look at your account and i saw that this issue was solved for a few months ago. I do remember this specific case as i was the one to handle it.
The reason the account was closed down was due to that the account holder had another account that he/her closed down on another Every Matrix brand. Because of our UK Gambling licens we then had to close down this account and return the funds that was deposited. If the specific player would have lost the deposit he/her would still have been payed back the entire deposit.

Similar case to mine. At last the regulator taking action.
Hello Roderick.
Thank you for the interesting articles.
I am going back to what i stated before, if the player would have lost his original deposit he would have gotten the deposit payed back by us, thats why the winnings was with held and the deposit payed back accordingly and the account was closed directly after that.
This is the rules of our licensy Every Matrix and we do have to follow them.
Niklas
Dear Niklas
Was there any reason why my complaint was not given a specific reference number as I would like one please?
Roderick
I would like to raise a complaint in relation to you illegally and unethically withholding monies legitimately won by me on your CODETA website. I joined the website using all the same details that i use on all gambling websites with no changes to dob or address over the last few years. I deposited 3000 k and won 2500 k. You erased all transactional gambling data fro my account history and removed winnings from my account.
I am alleging that under the terms of your licence you have failed to instigate a satisfactory and robust 'Know Your Client'" process that would have protected me or any other vulnerable addicts from gambling on a website owned by your organisation. My concern would be lessened if you had returned my winnings with an apology and then proceeded to bar me. Instead you have negligently failed to ensure robust self exclusion processes across your businesses and have exploited my weakness to make money. Effectively you have placed yourself in a win win position. Had i as a player done this to you , your organisation would have regarded my behaviour as cheating, in other words enabling and exploiting unfair advantage to achieve gain.
I can provide comparator proof from competitor gambling websites ' whereby I would have not been able to gamble because they had linked self exclusion data and processes. it is not difficult or expensive to deploy software to put in place more preventative measures , you have clearly demonstrated a reluctance to do so.
i suggest that you escalate my complaint to your managers. a return of my wining swill close this matter otherwise I will refer the matter to the gambling commission.
regards
Roderick
