Hello all.

I have lurked here on and off for a while and finally decided to register. I'm not new to gambling, but I am fairly new to slots, which has quickly become my primary gambling method. I never cared much for slots until one night back in September. I had a decent win from a football (soccer) bet and noticed this game called "Wolf Blaze" I liked the look of the art, so I ran 7 to 10 spins and landed the WOLF letters and a +5. At this point I still had no idea what was happening, I was like... "okay what does this mean?" I rand the bonus spins and I popped over £800 from a £1 spin. It's safe to say my view on slots changed instantly. I've been playing every week ever since, well, when I have enough spare bank to run with a cushion. I tried some land based slots at the local bookies but all the games were dead spin central in my opinion, maybe that's intentional?

Casinomeister is a great site and forum. Considering how popular slots are, I'm surprised how little social interaction and online discussions there are out there. It's a giant sized hobby all over the world and it's like nobody wants to talk about it.

Happy to be here.

That's the worst thing that could've happened to you. You won.

As for land-based slots and dead spins, they are 90 or 92% RTP and the play time/spins turnover you can expect on average for a given deposit is thus around half or less for the equivalent amount online at 94 or 96%.

P.S welcome to the forum!

In a way, you're right. I've had some serious highs and some serious lows. Often within the same hour. I'm working on self control and knowing when to walk away and be glad.

Make sure you educate yourself about the varying degrees of RTP on Slots.

Some casinos run them at Higher RTPs (Rare) whilst other can totally pull the piss and offer lower percentages.

This can and will make a fundamental difference to your gaming time and overall win/loss over the long term.

You became a slots player in the 'Hit and Run' era of Slotting, where 90% of providers, regulators and casinos are snatching and grabbing...

Thanks for the advice. What do you mean by "snatching and grabbing"?

Have you considered using deposit, loss or wager limits? Or maybe taking a break if self-control is lacking for you right now. Probably don't need me to say it only takes a minute to lose a ton of money at casinos, especially if you're one of the Bonanza faithful :)

I do use the safer gambling tools. It's funny though because the sites where I have deposit and spend limits, I can't seem to win squat - I basically burn to zero. The two main sites where I don't have limits, I often get a win on a small deposit. Just a coincidence, I'm sure.

Meant to say snatching or grabbing...

In essence ...Each trying to get a bigger slice of the pie by whatever means possible.
