New Forum Section - Blasts from the past

I'm setting up a new forum section - sort of an archive - of important and often referred to threads. Several pending categories are Online Casinos, Poker, Complaints, Industry Issues, Meltdowns and other Oddities, Technical Help...

If you have any suggestion on categories or if you have threads that you'd like to see showcased, please post them here

I think this is a pretty spiff idea, might help overcome a longstanding prob where threads that people often talk about, or refer to, are hard to find. Now they could be gathered in one place.

The idea is that significant threads from around the forums would be gathered here, and markers would be left in the original forum linking to the thread in the archive. That way if you went looking for the original you'd find the marker and be able to follow that through to the thread itself.

Just thought a few words on how B envisioned this would be useful.

Hmm...I'm Thinking, maybe one of the sub-sections could be Land Based Casinos/Online?

Where some of the important threads regarding the UIGEA and some of the Land Based Casinos maybe coming online soon such as Harrahs threads could be stored.

Will you just be taking it upon yourselves to decide which threads get archived in there or is there going to be a meeting that I will need to be present at for discussion?

LoL, ok... so I just didn't know if I should get dressed up or not. That was a good idea on Rusty's part and good of you to implement it. Should be a great new section for quick reference.

Please add (acepedro's) thread about virtual not paying him the 100k plus for years with little reason, we want all the new meister heads to know that one.Maybe a virtual thread of its own with all the antics over the past years. I know you got it out in the other section about them but I think the meister heads would read it more being a sticky thread or something.

the playtech issue with the progressives.

obviuosly a thread with " the most outstanding topics" or something like that, "the most discussed" could be another.

Just basically the ones that had a lot of responses and or viewed on them.

There has been some really juicy cases in the past two years..

could throw CAP in there but I know you dont want that stuff in your house and could cause more issues.

Maybe threads for each software platform such as MG,RTG, rival and the rest and any new news updates or anything add to that section.

In my brief time @ CM, gaming fairness (the question of) has always been the most significant issue for me. There are 2 ,iirc, initial Absolute Poker threads that are must reads along with some of the most impressive,intelligent and informative posts one will experience! JMO!
