Still appear to exist on the UK site - currently doing a $25k slots tournament and a $50k live casino tournament.
As frustrating as it is to the rest of the field, the key differentiator is how they are doing it:
- If they could demonstrate it to a random person - not that they would, it is far too valuable - and that person (with sufficient ability) could replicate it, then I would consider that a skill edge and thus fair game.
- However, if the tactic involves collusion (e.g. soft-playing) or collaboration (e.g. knowledge sharing) then that probably crosses a line and would be considered foul play.
People maximising slot tournaments is as old as the hills - those that have worked a strategy out will be saying nothing, and those that haven't will be calling foul play - whether it actually is or not.
