Hey Guys,

I am from Toronto, Canada and have been betting for over 2 years now. Till date the total equation of profit and loss is around $20k loss .

I have few questions;
1. What is the best way of funding your account? I bet with Bet365 and till date used my visa Card to fund my account directly. Also, another question is, if you use your credit Card for funding directly, does that affect your credit ratings???

2. Which is the site you would recommend for betting which is good in terms of odds? I use Bet365 and find it very good. I normally bet on Tennis, Cricket, Snooker, Darts, Handball and Football and they show these events live (so no toggling of windows).

3. Do we have any place where we can look for predictions? till date I used my knowledge of game.

Welcome from a fellow Canuck. I too play at Bet365, but not sports betting. I use a prepaid Visa from Moneymart, and many of the banks have started offering prepaid Visa and Mastercards as well.

I really don't know how using it for gambling might impact your credit rating, but if you use a prepaid method, it definitely won't hurt it.

The Moneymart prepaid has a maximum of $10K that can be paid back to it, but you could open a Moneybookers account as well. Fees are low, I receive requested wires in a few days for around $5, plus the $14 my bank charges for an incoming wire.

is probably the best known and most widely respected online sports betting site, you can probably find some more info there.

Instadebit is linked to your Canadian bank account and it works great for me, there is no fees and separate US/CAD accounts. Some casinos(inc bet365) will hold the money for a week or so for "clearance" before making a payment so make sure to fund your account in advance.

Welcome to Casinomeister, CanadianBoy!

As long as you pay on time, I do not think CCs even pay any attention to where your money goes, unless you are using it illegally, such as here in the US. Even then, thousands use them and don't "get caught". People use them in B&M casinos, too, with no problem. Your credit rating should be fine. Just my opinion, however. ;)

I have MM CC card as well but use "USEMYWALLETT or USEMYBANK (same thing) quite often, cant W/D tho from that method, my RBC CC dont work online even for MB but my CIBC works fine for most casino's, as far as your credit rating as long as all your shit isnt maxed you are fine, CIBC doesnt give a rats ass as long as you pay, my beacon is 799 (which is pretty good), RBC cc's can be used thru "usemybank".

credit rating

Your credit rating will not be affected by using your credit card (although your bank balance might!) as long as you are paying off your minimum balances. I just got my credit rating today as I was setting up a business account at the bank. The bank rep looked at me after getting my credit score and said she thinks my score is the best she has ever seen... and I have used my credit card for 10 years online at casinos. (My bank account balance however might be healthier if I had not discovered online casinos!)

Welcome Canadianboy, always nice to see another Canuck around here.

I like use Instadebit (similar to Paypal) when it's available, and Moneybookers when it's not. Although since Bet365 started making you wait 10 days after your Instadebit deposit before you can withdraw, I no longer use it there.

funding account

Hello, I am Canadian as well and always use my credit card to play. As others have said just make sure you pay your
bills ontime and you will be fine. Banks love it when you use your credit card cause they get interest charges out of you.
I will be looking into the pre paid visa option though, just because I would like to have a seperate credit card for gambling.
