Exclusive Bonus Exclusive Comp 10k giveaway!

Not 'blaming' the winner, as those from London that are 43 are usually deserving.

I'll merely state that BTG just wasted most players' time by not tightening the competition rules, even as it was becoming obvious that there was advantage play afoot. Not that they care of course!

And no, I'm not bitter. At least not about the comp :p

But by Jove, I would be if I'd just spent four weeks chasing a gimped comp, one that was supposed to be 'exclusive' to this site, let's just say. Mean words would be said - and I wouldn't even edit them

I am soooo suspicious Goatie!

BTG post fake screenshots in their own previous competition

A 'player' wins this comp for September

Said 'player' posts his screenshots at the last gasp each week, unsurprisingly surpassing any other player on each game

The same 'player' that won September's now wins October's

Hmnnn the mind boggles!!!

It is a strange insinuation greylady. In the grand scheme of things I doubt BTG would be rewarding me specifically. there is zero benefit to them doing so.
The reason for posting last gasp screenshots when you are in the lead is simple - why show the other payers the score they need to beat. It is a slight technical advantage which anyone who has given a modicum of thought to the proceedings would understand. The only game where I got the high score was in POP btw. It is disingenuous to cast dispersions as to the integrity of BTG (or indeed myself if I cared about how I am perceived) in such an unfounded manner. I'm no one to them, on the other side of the world, unaffiliated random who loves +ev.

Anyway, looks like my lead has held up, will see how the rest of it plays out, on to the next forum.

Congrats to @Dirtystack on your win.
You have spin hard to get such amazing scores, especially week 4.
I spent far too many hours trying to hit a good win this week using manual spins (over 5000 spins) so applaud your efforts and luck.

of the top 5 people who came for the comp, you have actually engaged with our community whilst here. Hope you haven’t found us too prickly.

I guess you’re prob busy spinning mega clusters right now….. so good luck on your journey. You might even afford a London apartment by the end of the 10 months lol.

Thanks to BTG for the comp. Hopefully you will have realised that the Casinomeister community is the place to come to run them judging by the number of participants in the first couple of weeks of October, compared to the other ‘lesser’ gambling forums of the previous months. lol
We even have our own score keeper (greylady).

Congrats to @Dirtystack ! None of my favorite BTG games were on the list but it was still fun trying out different games every week.

I have to say I would prefer if there were not only 1 but *check the list ... 2,3,4,5...* 6 paid places but thats how this comp was designed. :D

So thanks BTG and enjoy spending the money Dirtystack! And a big thank you to @greylady for updating the list. True MVP!

It should have been more then just 1 winner (1-10 maybe?) in the competition and of course a real CM member and not a unknown newbie.
BTG has been around here since they started. They should know this.
4 different games, but only 1 of the better, the rest garbage.

= the competition was like 👎

What Greylady said + Why do you think I dropped out after only week 2 and spent very little all round.

When something stinks of fish, its usually very fishy!

Not apologising if I have this wrong as I don't think I have.

Lets compensate by next comp actually being exclusive, 2 years at least membership, regular posters and smaller but more prizes.

Have you looked at the other forums? Were there really fewer entries?
Because that might explain why Casinomeister wasn't included in the list of forums initially. It was just the other 3.
Then suddenly for the third month Casinomeister was added to the list.

Thanks, I have a hell of a hangover and the working day to deal with. Off Tuesday/Wednesday this week so will go and participate in the next tournament tomorrow. Painful without auto spin if it is a game I don’t enjoy though.

No surprises in the final results!

I have to admit it has to be the unfairest comp i have ever seen, I didn't take part so it's not sour grapes!

Congrats/commiserations to Bowski and Supababe from the Casinomeister regulars for getting so close and congrats to the winner.
Thanks once again for your work greylady and to BTG for the comp.

The winner has been a member for 2 years. :)

But I can get that winner-takes-all prizes are painful for some, especially at 10k and if you come in the top few places behind the eventual winner...... :eek2:

Regular posting is pretty subjective and would need to be stipulated by the admin rather than the comp provider. Then again, the idea is to get as many participants as possible to benefit both the forum and comp provider, so making it too exclusive may defeat the object.

Alas we always get finger pointing in most comps and if the prizes are worthwhile people will work out the most efficient strategy to try and win. It seems most entrants did exactly what I would have done - bang away at minimum stake, turning over enough spins to increase the chances of a big times-stake win each week.

Thanks to @greylady for compiling the stats. I wasn't even watching this thread so it was nice to be able to go straight to the salient posts as opposed to sifting through hundreds of the buggers.

It's not even about 'winner takes- all' and the other participants being salty. It's that BTG couldn't give a moment's thought to legitimate entry requirements, or who wins it.

They encouraged shady play where it was never going to be a level playing field, and where comp nomads could blag the spoils before moving onto 'the next forum' to do the same.

And yes, two-year membership it may be, but their contributions prior to this comp is what I'd call 'subjective'.

So again, I didn't participate in these festivities.....but I recognize when an exclusive comp isn't particularly exclusive, and even more miffed as to why anyone would congratulate BTG's shonky interactions with this community, especially as many have spent combined £££thousands to see BTG reward such players.

Oh well!

I tend to, bar the odd one, tend to see comps through to the end but this one was distinctly underwhelming for a few reasons, hence i didn't even play the last game which sums it up. It is what it is though and what you expect from BTG: great games, yes, ability to interact and outline rules, not so much.

Picking of games reminds me of how light, despite reviewers creaming themselves over certain releases, some of their portfolio is.

Perverse way i hope Dirtystack takes the next 60k

Just to reinterate - this comp was not approved by me from the beginning. Yeah it looks like a load of people had a good time - and kudos for the winners, but these exclusive comps need proper vetting - this one was not - it slipped past us and by then it was too late.

I'll discuss this with the BTG rep so there won't be an issue like this in the future.

Will the comp winner come exclusively from Casinomeister or will the winner come from either CM,Casinogrounds,The Gambling Community or Hideous Slots?

Heads up. You have not included Casinomeister in your banner

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
I pointed the above out on page two but as I did not get a response I chose to not be seen as causing trouble so I STFU. They added the CM banner later.

Think what you're saying is Greylady should be given the other 10k, so she can then run a comp of 1k each 1-10, in the Remarkable thread?

Ok, just me :p

1-9 and she can skim 1k off the top then.

Oh you just know I would have run several competitions on there if I had entered and won, no doubt about it!

I didn't expect or want anything from BTG for compiling the stats but a 'thank you' from BTG would have gone a long way, manners cost nowt, something else they seem lacking in

We all know you're not Nikan Mark 2 :p

I may be wrong but I'm sure hideous slots has already had a comp run on it and now in November it's there again, so does that mean casinomesiter will also get another run at this?

Geez Grey, you just want it all don't you. It's not about 'thankyou', it's the taking part :p ( )

So anyway, why don't CM members form a comp racket and go to town in the remaining comps? Everyone chips in and then just split it 28- ways!

It'll be easy enough to register elsewhere and get into the 'spirit' of that forum's BTG comp. You know it makes sense!
