Should I play at Carbon Poker?

I used to play years ago in various poker rooms when they took US players and such but I haven't played in a while and I have no idea where to play. I saw some postings that said just google Merge Network poker rooms, but that doesn't say whether any of these are any good.

So I'm curious to know whether Carbon Poker is a good choice? I downloaded it but am afraid to put in money until I know more about them... you know, if they pay as well as the good and bad about Carbon itself... and there isn't much about this particular poker room.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I am playing there for over 5 years. You should expect long withdrawals (longer then one month sometimes). Other then that, CarbonPoker is OK place.
Good software, number of players, bad beat jackpot and good tourneys. Hope it helps
Just avoid their casino section :) black jack, roulette and stud all terrible games. its very tempting sometimes, when you running cold in poker, but believe me, those games will eat your balance in minutes

Thanks for the info, that's good to know... although that one month withdrawal sounds hideous :(

Does anyone know a good poker place that pays within 2 weeks or so?

There are not a lot out there for US. The Carbon withdrawal timeframe is way too long. There are a few others, but I believe payout time frames are the same, and traffic sucks. Hate to say it, but you may want to give up the search until they make it legal.

I am a regular player at Intertops Poker. Well, I have been, but they joined the "merge" network and now I hate the tournament schedule. I am still playing but looking for something else.

Their payouts are a lot quicker than a month. week and a half maybe?

That's not too bad... i'll have to check it out. Thanks!

I thought that too - hence why I haven't played in so long! I wish they would just make it legal - or I need to move closer to a casino with poker at least, lol

I also downloaded Carbon's last week to give it a shot but as of now, not impressed.
They seem to have an awful glitch with their new patch. Every so often a cookie warning
would pop up and people will get disconnected. Seems they know of the issue and are
working on it. Traffic is smaller than I was used to and tournaments are miniscule. Cash
games seem to be the main attraction at Carbon, but I like tournys. Now I see they
take over a month to pay?!!!? I think I would skip. I still have Pokerstars on play money mode
to keep me occupied. USA HURRY UP WITH THE REGULATIONS ALREADY!!!!

Anyone considering depositing at any merge network poker room might want to google 'merge poker credit card fraud' (or similar).
