I never go more than 25 or 40 spins, if I don't hit the 2 rings, then I quit, and come back another time. For some reason it works well , and I never lose much money at all since I don't go on and on waiting for the bonus.

So I started the day with some minimum stake Thunderstruck, and got a nice win from a €.09 bet. No screenshot though, sorry. I upped my betting and after a while I hit the freespins resulting in this:

Well, I had an account balance of €100 when I started, and it was above 95 when I had the first big win from the €0.9 bet, and it never went below €100 after that.
