Is it just me, or does anyone else notice that when players hit the bonus round for over 5 figures in coins, they're betting with a 1-2c coin denomination? When I'm betting with a .10 coin, I've never gotten more than 4 figures in coins.

Using your shot as an example, if I were betting the usual .10 coin @ 25 lines * 1 coin, that would have been over a $5000 hit for the same $2.50/spin.

Or....Does MG know exactly what coin size you're using, and bases the coins won on that? IE: You're still only going to get ~200x your bet, no matter what the coin size........so in other words, instead of 58,xxx coins, you're only going to hit 58xx coins.

In the first one, Kaynos was playing 10 x 0.01 coins per line so that's 10 times as many coins as it would have been if he played 1 coin x 0.10 coin size, but the same amount won.

The screenshot from me_and_ed was 2 coins per line, and in terms of multiples of bet size, that was the bigger win - it would have been $1,789.40 if he was playing 1 coin x 0.10 coin size, or if he was playing 10 x 0.01 like Kaynos was. It all depends on how many coins per line you are playing. Me_and_ed's screenshot is a very rare and rather large 715.76x win.

And kudos to Kaynos! Not only can you win at RTG casinos, but you can win at Isis as well - two things I could never do! Congratulations!

Of course congrats to me_and_ed as well ... very nice return on that bet size! Did it trigger with 5 scatters (600x)?

So what's the best way to play ? Lowest coinage, more per lines, highest coinage less per line ? Look like the game know what coin value you are using and adjust the wins accordingly.

I cannot believe you could hit 58k coins feature if they were worth 10, 20 or 25 cents each ! At .25 that would have been a win of 14570$ for a 2.50 bet,

    There's no difference between playing 10 coins @ 0.01 versus 1 coin @ 0.10, it's still 10 cents per line x 25 lines = $2.50 per spin.

The only visual difference between the two is that your wins with 1 coin @ 0.10 coin size will be 1/10th the number of coins (not 1/10th the amount) because the coin size is 10 times larger than 0.01.

Whatever the paytable has for a particular line-up, you multiply that by the number of coins you bet per line and that's how many coins you have won, then multiply that by your coin size to determine the actual amount of money you have won.

So if the paytable shows 50 for a certain lineup, then here is what you get:
    If using 10 coins per line with 0.01 coin size = 50 x 10 = 500 coins x 0.01 = $5.00
    If using 1 coin per line with 0.10 coin size = 50 x 1 = 50 coins x 0.10 = $5.00

500 coins sounds like more than 50 coins but not if the 500 coins are pennies and the 50 coins are dimes.

You could also use nickels and play 2 per line, or 0.02 cents at 5 coins per line, it's all the same amount but a different number of coins.

You could if you were using a 10, 20, 25-cent coin size and 10 coins per line ... but that's a LOT of dough ($25, $50, $62.50) per spin. And very very risky on this slot especially. We had best leave that to the habitual winners (Simmo, vinylweatherman and Slotster).

Personally, I prefer to play with a smaller coin size and more coins per line, because it looks like more money.

The only difference would be in those slots that have bonus rounds in lieu of free spins.

    For example:

The bonus round pays in coins as opposed to say N* the originating bet.

Playing those slots with a higher coin denomination and less coins per line makes it worthwhile.

No it doesn't. Bonus round wins are also multiplied by the number of coins per line (it says so in the help screens). It all works out exactly the same. If you play Tomb Raider with 1 coin per line and you get the idol bonus, each idol will have up to 100 coins. But if you play the same game with 5 coins per line, each idol will have up to 500 coins. This happens (in both situations) regardless of what your coin size is.
