I believe it would have been the Jackpot = �500. (~ $980)

These machines have been in most public amusement arcades for a year or two - anyone over 18 can walk in off the street & play them.
Before that the max jackpot machines available were �25. (25 or 30p/spin)
Many people argue that they should only be in casinos, not in public places - and I agree with them.
At 50p - �2 per spin they eat your money at an alarming rate!
