I've got XP home os how do you do through the process of saving a screen shot? in help info states as below, it does't seem to do any thing for me, any one help? thanks for the info in advance

To copy the window or screen contents
To make a copy of the active window, press ALT+PRINT SCREEN.
To copy the entire screen as it appears on your monitor, press PRINT SCREEN.

Note

To paste the image into a document, click the Edit menu in the document window, and then click Paste.[U]

You have to open an application like Paint or Adobe Photoshop, open a blank document and then paste the screenshot into that blank document.
