"Del Boy", short for "Derek" in the BBC hit comedy "Only Fools and Horses" which ran for years. He and his partner/younger brother "Rodney" were eastender type "street traders". In fact "Rodney" has now entered the language in the sense of "you are a complete Rodney" (he was a bit on the simple side!). There was also a pub Slot Machine that licenced the OFAH theme and was around for years.

Classic comedy, but probably only for us Brits
