Thanks Venetian. Your strategy is what i tend to follow as well except i start out $.45-$.90. Not being a highroller, i don't expect to make $2K or more hits. But if i'm really running well, i hope to end up with $600-$1000 every now and then. I haven't done that in over 5 weeks. So, on a good night i make just enough to afford that week a number of smallish ($25-$100) deposits elsewhere on which i go bust. It seems every win is always followed by going bust at a number of other places. I just don't seem to get ahead of the game or get to a situation where i can comfortably start out with more interesting bets.
This has been a very frustrating week. I had a couple of very nice hits but with horrible timing. They came when i was down, down, down, and after i had to decrease my bets to stretch out my play time. Didn't get much for it and ended up busting out anyway.
After this nice 4-wilds win i had hoped that this would be my night. Increased my bets to $1.80 but nothing happened and went down. Played some Wow Pot, got 4 scatters once, ended up more down anyway. Got a nice bonus in Big Kahuna and i figured my luck had returned and went back to Ladies Night. Well, when i was down to $220 i decided to withdraw and feeling a let-down and upset with myself. I meant not to go below $300 but i was so anxious to get a really lucky evening for once that i kept hammering away on the spin button at various games. My luck tend to be very short-lived; often just increasing the bets to over $1.50 seem to be the kiss of death. So, i always marvel at the success stories, like 3-4 great screenshots of a single evening, i see posted here. No offense to anyone, but those lovely screenshots here are not a very good influence on me as they tend to make me play longer than i should.
