    Pardon the Interruption...Please..The Bottom Line

I am new to online gaming as far as casinos go. Out of respect for this forum, which seems to host the most experienced minds..I decided to straight out ASK here..

I played a LOT of online bingo previously at a site I found last year and wrote everything down. This bingo site is one of the best as far as not holding your bonus bucks hostage or penalizing you for making a w/d,etc. and very generous with awarding you extra money with chat games.

So far..after all my deposits versus withdrawls.. I am still $1475.00 ahead at that site.

The only problem I began to have with online bingo is that in order to maintain that winning percentage.. it required hours upon hours in live chat winning extra *bonus bucks* to further increase my balance to play on.

Recently ..due to family issues..I've been fairly depressed as late and just do not feel like putting on a *happy face* and going into chat..so I turned to casinos.

Now my question.............(ss for being wordy)

I have read many of these threads and am especially curious about this one.

It APPEARS that in order to make money from casino play..you need a lot of $$ to begin with. When these screen shots are posted...I see mostly large bets per hand.

I went to power poker and found if you only bet small amounts...the payouts are not anything close to the amounts you all are winning. [In bingo ..I won all of my money playing approx. $1.25 per game.]

I guess then as a newbie I want to really know bottom line...do you need large amounts of $$$ to make money?

If this is basically so...I think that online casino gaming is probably not worth it for me to attempt to dabble in as I have limited funds.

TIA and ss if I intruded into the wrong thread..

Yes, and most likely will lose large amounts more often then winning them.

Can't 'expect' to be able to make $$$ in negative expectation games.

I had a very lucky month, 6 natural royals.. bunch of other BJ/poker stuff too but probably dropped 100k in the previous three, thats gambling.

Best way without much risk to win BIG is progressive slots, don't forget to pray/cross your fingers.. etc while clicking spin.

Best advice I can give.. is if you hit a huge win.. and think your having a lucky day.. play a little more, give back 5-10% at most and then quit playing, even if you have to uninstall / ask to have your account locked etc.

There are better ways than that. Check out some of the tournaments that are listed at places like Intercasino. It's a $15-$25 entrance fee, and you can win up to $3000 or so. All you've risked is the sign-up fee.

As for making big wins or having big hits, I've been lucky on all of my slot wins betting at $9 or more a spin. For my three (!) natural royals, the first two were on a $5 bet and I was lucky with the last one on a $10.

And in the long run, am I making money? No. Just call me "Even Steven".

    Thank you.......

BOTH for answering me honestly and forthright.

I kind of suspected thus was the case..but I wanted to be sure.

They say there is no such thing as a dumb question. I'd rather ask the question before I found myself in a situation that was over my head or increasingly frustrating because I was too DUMB to ask the question!!

I truly am on a limited income and I guess ..looking at it ..having made over a $1000.00 profit playing bingo sensibly has worked well for me. (I've seen people deposit hundred's weekly or play max cards every game who end up way deep in the red.)

I will use your suggestions and look for tournaments or only try a few progressives until I am ready to head back into those chat rooms..where I feel compelled to be this " happy go lucky person" I just can't be right now.

SS you lost so much previously, fortyoz, but am thrilled you've been so lucky recently!! May BOTH your luck run gold for a long time...

    With much appreciation,
    Cub

    even free tourneys are fun

Starluck has 4 free slot tourneys/day. There is no signup fee. The lucky winner gets a free entry into the weekend tourney where they pay you money for winning. I think also that Starluck still may be running a free no deposit signup offer.

This might be one way for you to get your feet wet since you may be new to the casino scene. And after all........free is free.

perimutual gold is a bingo site with poker, pulltabs and keno. They also have free bingo where you can play for points then cash them in if u decide to deposit. Bingogold also doesn't hold your bonus bucks hostage and fast, fast fast payouts also. They are a strong site with the best customer support. Their tech support pops in several times a day and will call you if you are having a software issue.

Hope this might help some. Best of Luck to you.

Took a brain break yesterday at Casino Kingdom, and played Deuces Wild Power Poker. I normally make $10 bets, increasing and decreasing whenever. I took a chance and made a $40 bet and look what happened

    Thanks Casino Kingdom!!

Question for fortyoz and/or the Meister,

In those screenshots, I've seen that you're playing 3 or 4-line VP. Do you find that you get better results doing that compared to the standard 1-line VP? I've played the 1-line myself, but now I'm wondering if it's not a better shot at big winnings if you play more than just 1.

    Gracias.

I don't play 1 line VP online or in Vegas. It's just too boring for me

Me neither. Deathly boring in fact. 4-line gives you a bigger rush
