On a bit of a side issue, although I understand what you're driving at, my view is that once those checks are on my side of the table, it's no longer the casino's cash. I think the attitude of it being the casino's money is probably why many people end up losing in a casino - they're up a bit, now they're gambling with the casino's money, don't take even a modest win, and end up blowing any gains and their original bankroll.
Personally, I set win goals, and if I've got a larger starting balance following a run of success, then I'm willing to bet more. But I never ever rationalise losing bets at this stage as being the casino's money. It's mine, and if the larger bets aren't working, I'll walk with some of the win still intact, even if it's just a dollar! LOL
