Open PAINT, and click somewhere in the blank frame.
Press CTRL V (which is 'paste')
The image will be pasted. You may get a message 'the bitmap in the clipboard is too large.... do you want to resize the bitmap' Click YES and the screenshot will be pasted. You can then save it & manipulate it for upload.

I use WORD, as it will automatically save the pasted screenshot as an embedded picture in the document, and right clicking to edit will open the default picture editor, probably paint. It seems to be impossible (in 98SE) to simply right-click the desktop and save the screenshot directly as a BMP file.

    Do you not have WORD?
Excuse me Vinyl.. I made a mistake when I wrote "Wordpad"... it is "Word" that I have them in.. but I can't find any option to resize or change the format. Also.. I wasn't able to paste them into paint. I must be doing something wrong. I have WinXP, so it's all there, but I just missing the boat somewhere. Thank you for the feedback.

I just amazingly got the red feature, then the blue, then the green - then the red AGAIN (Four rockets too!) within ten spins!!!! They're like buses!!... The first was by far the best - letting me pick a country and all sorts, before landing this little beauty

I still don't love it, but it's growing on me

    From forum Q&A:
    If you're using Windows (XP):-

Cut and paste it into 'Paint' (By clicking on 'Edit' - 'paste')
    Click on 'Image', then 'Stretch/skew'
Reduce size to about 70% in both axis.
    Under 'Image' 'Attributes' make sure it's less than 640x480 & < 100Kb.
Then 'File', 'Save as' and select 'JPEG' from the pull down menu.

Or, what I do is copy them onto an Excel spreadsheet, right-click the image and change the size there. Then cut & paste to paint, and as above.
(This does not seem to work in Word! )

Thanks guys. I'll figure this out eventually. The problem seems to be that paint doesnt give me the drop down menu that includes paste when I right click while in that program.

Correct. You can either press control+V or you can click on "edit" then choose "paste".
