FYI, dropping a question like this in the middle of an unrelated thread (here) is called 'hijacking'. See the Forum Rules:
1.15 - Do not hijack threads. If you have something to say - say it, but please respect the other members by keeping threads "on track". If you have an issue that needs addressing, then please start another thread. Hijacking threads for your own agenda is not only rude, it is troll-like and can lead to a suspension.

I registered with jackpotcity casino in of January and made deposits of over 1000gbp.
I played for a while 2 hours and stopped at a balance of nearly 2000gbp and withdrew.
A few days later I was asked to provide notarized copies of ID which I did signed and stamped by solicitors in England.
Later that night I joined the live help on jackpotcity.com and was told my casino account had been closed and that I would only receive my original deposits back and said that they were not willing to offer any reason.
I have yet to receive my original deposits back and am really worried
I have behaved respectfully and proper and feel like I have been bullied by this casino. I will replace my post should anything new happen cto change what has happened

Notorised copies ? god forbid this would be insane. So to gamble at online casino you need a notary to verfiy who you are! Most I have ever sent in is a scan of my passport / util bill and when I used to deposit a copy of my card. If they asked for more its quite simple. I walk.

It almost sounds like you are accepting their actions...
    I certainly wouldn't!

If you genuinely have not done anything wrong that you are aware of, then I would first try to contact the Bellrock rep on this forum, and if you don't get a satisfactory response, then Pitch-A-Bitch.
This casino is CasinoMeister accredited - and so Max should be able to get to the bottom of any issue you have with them.
(Might have to be patient - he will be "out of the office" this coming week).

yes sent a pm to cobus and deleted the double post as soon as I realised I had put it on the wrong forum.

Also I am not accepting it but If I just stamp my feet these people will just ignore me. If I put forward a reasoned argument and when I get a reply from cobus hopefully that will sort it out for me.

I aslo went on live help the other day and appealed to ClaireB the host to ask the management to re look at this for me and should they treat me properly I would spread the good word.

This kind of thing takes away from what is the best part of online gaming IMHO. The anonymity, the not having to speak with people and just relaxing for an hour or two..... If I have to send in notarized documents then they are ruining the fun, making it like work for me. I don't want to have to go to a notary and stuff. Heck if i do that I might as well drive past the notary and go straight to the B&M casino. This is horse cucky.
The MAIN reason it is bull is because these casinos should demand this type of thing BEFORE accepting your money. Not when it is time to pay you. It is backwards and it should be the norm to ask for these things and not accepting deposits until they are received and approved. To ask for it after the fact is just plain wrong and it reeks of trying to find a way not to pay.

That can be quite a drive in the UK. We just don't have any "supercasinos" like the ones in the US, just local ones. There is still the point that the whole idea of doing it online is NOT having to go out, yet never has there been a more difficult set of "going out" challenges for the ordinary "man in the street" than finding a notary to verify their drivers license and gas bill.

Many probably start the process with "WTF is a NOTARY" before they even get in the car (or catch the bus).

Even getting documents notarised seems to have an unduly high failure rate, given that this is a LEGAL thing, akin to swearing on the bible before testifying in court.

Maybe players who have notarised documents rejected should go back to the notary and tell them to their face that xxxx business has more or less called them a liar, and that you, the customer, will hold the Notary responsible for sorting this out. I'd like to see casinos trying the "talk to the hand" tactic on a firm of solicitors they have just implied don't know how to notarise a document properly, and who are dealing with an irate customer wanting to know WHY they can't notarise their documents properly.
