I've just received this from Frank the XXL rep:

Quote:
We have been relocating all our offices in the last couple of weeks and also had to change our payment provider. We will be handling all payments ourselves in the future; this will give us full control of our casino.

I'm still traveling and will be back on Monday to get a close look at the forum entries and give appropriate answers to the forum members.

... assure the players that we will pay all of them as soon as Playtech made the needed change in the casino confirmation.

What is really interesting here is:
Playtech, what is your policy concerning operators that go bancrupt and/or disappear with players money?

Until playtech gives a clear answer to this i think the whole playtech platform should be roqued.

Please Brian, roque the whole Playtech platform.. noone can be satisfied with putting money to a platform with no guarantees to back their money!

Other platforms provide this kind of security to players, and this little but oh so important security is what separetes the best from the others ;-)

Well, it is obviously a Playtech problem

Of course, this may just be another stalling tactic, putting Playtech into the frame as the reason for the holdup.

This pretty closely mirrors what happened at Action Online earlier this year, support there could sometimes be contacted, but they were just there to offer excuses, as all along the casino was going bust.

I don't buy "moving in the last couple of weeks", it seems far longer than this, with problems predating Frank's last appearance a month and a half ago to explain all of this. They simply cannot "still be moving" now!

Playtech should now be considered as rogue as RTG, and only those Playtech entities accredited here should be trusted. Perhaps we should have a Playtech list here as we do for RTG.

I personally believe that there is a serious problem here, not just them moving offices and processors, which would have been done very quickly, and with minimum disruption considering how important this is to the continued smooth operation of the business.
I expect they are in such trouble that they cannot get the services of any processor, and that it was their last processor that gave THEM the push, not the other way round. As for Playtech having to "change the confirmation of the casino", this looks like BS, as Playtech clearly have very much a "hands off" approach to how each casino is run. Action Online didn't think of this excuse when they went bust, and if this was a genuine Playtech policy it would have featured then.

The only good playtechs these day are those independent ones: like bet365, betfred, centrebet and some others. Most of the others are very unreliable. Some time ago most of the playtech casinos started to pay by checks to all depositors. Even if one deposits by Neteller or Moneybookers- he is paid by check only. They also refuse to pay by bank wire.

Hi
I am another of those with money "lost" at XXl Club.
Unfortunately I dont believe either that Frank from XXL Club is "just moving", he is not moving... he is disappearinng.
And D... i hope all Playtech that hasn't got a separete seal of approval will be put on a list to watch out for.

I have probably lost my money, but hope to help others to know the story the do and donts in this gaming industry.

one sorry gambler moving on.
But, hey FRANK, if you ever get back from "moving", and want to earn just a little bit of credit from me, send an excuse for slow support and pay my money.

Amazing isn't it? Key people in casinos that are going bust seem to always be 'traveling', 'out of town', 'away on business', or having a 'family crisis' while their business is going up in flames. In the end, players are left with nothing but ashes...

I do hope some Xmas miracle happens and XXL turns things around and pays players. Good luck to you all.

It just amounts to having no respect for the "suckers" .. or should I say "players" . We're talking "Online Casino".. not "Brick+Mortar" ... since when does being away on business stop you from cracking open your laptop and accessing everything from there? Those in managerial positions can access and do anything remotely from their own computers.

So just another lame excuse from another casino employee who thinks the players are fools!

I don't feel comfortable playing at most of Playtech casinos, but I really like Playtech software. If you also like this casino platform, you better choose bet365, betfred, centrebet, sports interaction, totesports, wofacai casino. These operators can be trusted and the best of playtech casinos.

Why do you say Wofacai Casino? I am also another player with money at XXL Club casino. I had it there for over a month and they told me they had "technical" problems to delay my withdrawal. Now I see what the real problem was. Playtech needs to offer a solution to this problem or face the consequences. I think the only Playtech I will play at in the future is one licensed in England or owned by a English company like the others people are mentioning. Actually, if Playtech lets us players suffer the loss I will never play them again. They should not be supported if they show they don't care about the players.

Does Playtech earn a % of casino profits? If it is true there is no excuse for them not to have a solution and I think they should suffer.

But still I am hoping somehow I can get my money. Please Playtech please!
