Yes, obviously her compliant was well-founded and appropriate. Anyone that cares to review this thread would see that that has been my position since the get-go.

In my correspondence with the OP and here (if I recall correctly) I was the one saying that Alderney's support of PKR did not make PKR's decision supportable. I've been fighting for her to get paid since Day 1 on this: how is it that that has suddenly become invisible?

So what is the sense in trying to stick the donkey tail on me, acting like I'm supporting the bad guys here or some such rubbish? It's ridiculous, and trivial if I must say so.

What I am saying, or at least trying this one last time to say, is that yes casino was wrong, yes player complaints were legitimate, yes it never should have happened in the first place __but__ if the casino is now stepping up to the plate to make things right then that is progress and should be greeted accordingly.

All the rest of this "lefty do-gooders" and "why should the player grovel" and such rubbish is pointless in the extreme, not to mention extremely missing the point.

Some of you guys are attacking the wrong person here imo.

Max is clearly supporting the player and has put in a considerable amount of time and effort in trying to resolve her issues.

His suggestion that it may be counter-productive to continue hammering the operator over the issue when there is a strong attempt in progress to fairly sort it out is a practical one born of experience, and should be understood as such and not misinterpreted to mean anything else.

I agree with Jetset. Max is not the person to attack here.

I don't think very many people realize what a tough (and most of the time thankless) job Max has taken on here.

I mean come on its not like Max can force the casino or poker room to do anything. He can't. All he can do is try to calm down and talk sense to both sides and hopefully come up with a resolution that makes the player happy.

Max's post could possibly have been worded a little better, but you all need to remember that Max is working hard to get this player their money and that is what is important here.

Also remember, we as forum members do not see what is going on behind the scenes in these negotiations with the casino management...

But what we often see here is the final result, a happy post from a player that got their money or a new listing in Casinosmeisters Rouge Pit...

I hope all get paid and i agree nobody should pat PKR on the back if they do. IMO by far the most disturbing part of this is the way Aldernay backed PKR's TOTALLY RIDICULOUS decision to not pay these people.

If Aldernay makes decisions like this on a regular basis they are about as impartial as Safebet was.

I have read this whole thread and topoor has consistently stated her case in a clear and impartial manner. I applaud her for sticking with this. She just wants justice no bs.

I think you have hit the nail on the head there Paul.
We all want to see PKR do the right thing and that is much better than them continuing to do the wrong thing but it would not suddenly make their past actions excusable.
Poor Max is stuck in the middle and does not deserve some of the flack that he has been getting.
He is acting as an Arbitrator and not an enforcer so I can fully understand his comments even if I disagree how PKR should be received.
For them it is a damage limitation exercise.

Someone must have had a quiet word in their shell-like and this is a step in the right direction.
